Judging a breed by what some ghetto poser does with it is like seeing all these reports of crazy cat ladies and assuming every cat owner will eventually have to cope with 80 cats in their house.
Pits are inherently dangerous imo. My brother’s Jack Russell was attacked by one last week and was badly injured. It was an unprovoked attack. The pit had already killed the neighbors poodle on her front porch. My brother killed a pit last week thinking it was the one but it was not. The killer is still on the loose. My brother has had pits in the past and fully admits, their temperment can escalate. I don’t know what study you read those stats in but I’ve never seen agressive Beatles, or goldens. I can only speak about what I know and read.
