LOL I started having rainy day epiphany's when REAGAN was President and I started picking up those spare rounds back then -- when it was less expensive to do so.
You started way before I did, but I have enough of a stockpile to get by with. Many was the time that I had to leave my 1911’s at home when I went to the range, because I didn’t want to dip into the ‘rainy day’ stockpile, due to the uncertainty of replacement.
It looks like ammo availability is getting back to normal, although the prices for some are twice what I was paying in the pre-Obama days.
