Some of the Persian satraps of Daskyleion are mentioned in Greek sources, such as Pharnabazus (late 5th century/early 4th century B.C.).

Midas was a king of Phrygia. I suppose the Phrygians must have invented mufflers.

Two tumuluses found in Turkey's ancient Daskyleion

What part of the turkey is the daskyleion, and what's a tumuluse doing there? And why are they eating old turkey anyhow?

The only problem with Turkey is they have a law that lets you reside on the land if you have a roof by morning. You may have noticed the homes built on boulder fields. They make great walls until the earth shakes and uses the boulders to bury them.
