I was defriended on Facebook today. Reason given was that my republishing of negative Obama articles was causing this person extreme duress.
Person was not really your friend.
No worries M8. No great loss.

I’ve had lots of “friends” drop me.
Frankly - I don’t care. If they’re so shallow, I don’t want to hang with them - especially after sitting through a lot of their pro-Obama crap.
THEY ARE DESTROYING THIS COUNTRY!
I’m not going to apologize for fighting them.

My husband defriended one of his high school friends because he got tired of the pro-Obama spewing by this person. I don’t think her feelings were hurt too much. :-)

friends of friends can be the worst
I personally cannot stand Facebook. People put too much information out into the public. Mark Zuckerberg found out how to gather loads of information on 650 million people. This will be abused.
People mention they are on vacation so their house can get broken into.
I have a liberal friend on FB who was complaining about conservative FB friends posting their opinions on their own pages. I mentioned that our diversity is our strength. She actually deleted her own post! LOL
I am not particular worried. I de-friended an old Navy buddy of mine when he said the four American kids who wore American flag shirts to school on Cinqu de Mayo were “racist bastards”.
Decided we no longer had enough in common to continue speaking.
Yeah, not surprised there with their behavior. Hence, my tagline.
I have people join and fall off daily, to the point I really don’t care.

Meh, I actually delete people on my Facebook that are outspoken libtards. Usually that translates into real life too. I can’t think of a single close friend that supports Obama.
Though it is fun to troll others’ walls whenever they post something socialist.
I rarely use FB but I essentially defriended out of state relatives who I found out were Democrats. I was shocked - they appear to be somewhat intelligent. Who knew?
I just ignore them.
Most of my FB friends (and family) are liberals.
I keep the comments good-natured and factual, and they respond in kind.
