Frankly - I don’t care. If they’re so shallow, I don’t want to hang with them - especially after sitting through a lot of their pro-Obama crap.

My husband defriended one of his high school friends because he got tired of the pro-Obama spewing by this person. I don’t think her feelings were hurt too much. :-)

friends of friends can be the worst
I personally cannot stand Facebook. People put too much information out into the public. Mark Zuckerberg found out how to gather loads of information on 650 million people. This will be abused.
People mention they are on vacation so their house can get broken into.
I have a liberal friend on FB who was complaining about conservative FB friends posting their opinions on their own pages. I mentioned that our diversity is our strength. She actually deleted her own post! LOL
I am not particular worried. I de-friended an old Navy buddy of mine when he said the four American kids who wore American flag shirts to school on Cinqu de Mayo were “racist bastards”.
Decided we no longer had enough in common to continue speaking.

Meh, I actually delete people on my Facebook that are outspoken libtards. Usually that translates into real life too. I can’t think of a single close friend that supports Obama.
Though it is fun to troll others’ walls whenever they post something socialist.
Most of my FB friends (and family) are liberals.
I keep the comments good-natured and factual, and they respond in kind.

I’ve defriended people who posted smug, annoying liberal claptrap. I log on to Facebook for fun and relaxation, not to read a bunch of intolerant liberal gloating. One thing about Facebook, it does show you which of your friends and acquaintances are conservative and which liberal.
It happens in the opposite order, too. I had my sister’s comments blocked for quite some time because she’s a flaming libtard.
