You have successfully culled your Facebook friends to the group I like to call “Those Who Can Hang.” Dont’ worry. It will happen again.
This raises another important question: Why do you have liberals as friends to begin with?
I was forced to de-friend some moron who called me a racist because I didn’t accept Barack Obama as my personal Lord and Saviour.

I have refused Facebook from the start when I had college friends on there in 2002. Yeah, I get ragged on about not having a Bacefook account, but an account with FR is all the online presence I need.
If anyone important needs to get a hold of me they can come to the farm... or FReepmail me!
I have lost two liberal friends. They were old friends who “progressed” to be flamers. Neither one had kids.
I’m pretty careful not to make friendships with liberals because before long you find out your whole world view and values are opposite. It is a waste of time and effort.
I am in Georgia and my conservative inlaws live right out there with you.My sister in law is conservative and very active in the teaparty movement.Her husband finally canned the LASLIMES some years ago after much harrasment from me.He finally saw what they were all about.Oh and here is one for you,they are jewish.They have all been republicans since the days of RR as governor.

Good news that I am not totally alone out here in La La land. Agree about LA Times — hate that rag — they have pathetic circulation, the paper is mostly a nothing except for Sundays and even then it isn’t what it used to be by a long shot.
The Jewish people here are rabidly leftwing Obama-ites or like your in-laws, on the right. I just found an old grammar school friend on Facebook who, along with her family, are conservative. What I have found is that if the people care at all about Israel, they tend to be conservative — if they claim not to care one way or the other what happens to Israel, they are on the left.
I have specifically confronted a few Jewish leftist friends about this and they adamantly state they don’t have any interest in Israel. Fascinating, isn’t it? But FWIW, they tend to be totally disinterested, even feel disdain for, their religion.
Why have friends who are aiding and facilitating the destruction of your way of life and your children’s future anyway? That’s a big hurdle for me.
You forced them to choose between truth and delusion. They made their own choice. :-)
I publish, too, without fear, if what I am saying is the undeniable truth.
And if they leave because of tat, they weren’t a friend anyway. Good riddance!!!!
I’ve dropped facebook ‘friends’ who were Dem or Libs. They are the enemy.
