Vanity: Good God A Rambling Victory Speech By Moonbeam Gov Elect Brown
Speech On Fox News | 11-3-10

Posted on 11/02/2010 11:27:04 PM PDT by Williams

The marijuana initiative may be losing, but Jerry Brown's brain appears fried. He was rambling in a New Age kind of way that was hard to follow. Something about kids cooking their meals on open fires in the building, and every one having opportunity despite their race (as if that is an open issue today), renewable energy and lots of support ($$) for public schools.

It was kind of fun and sent the message that he means well but will royally screw everything up.

The people of California deserve the governor they just elected. Let them go bankrupt on their own without dragging down the rest of us.

As the saying goes: “Bill Clinton never inhaled and Jerry Brown never exhaled.”

I think Brown was as drunk as I am.

Jim - I am moving from San Jose, CA to Alpharetta, GA. This election was the last straw.

While I abandon the state, I will never abandon Freerepublic!!

Honestly, with the mess they have created out there. I’d rather Brown win. What in the world are they going to do out there to save the state? I say it does not matter who is at the top in the state California is the titanic and their debit is the iceberg and it’s just been spotted ahead..

U got that right..we are officially screwed over..Whitman wasn’t any better but she would have been a HUGE improvement over this dimwit. This guy is on video saying he had NO plan for California, said he basically lied, had nothing, now he is Governor. Maybe if Whitman had gone on TV and said that she had no plan either and acted like an idiot she would have won. The way this state is now, not even Reagan himself could win it

In a lot of ways this guy from far away thinks it will be better for CA to go up in flames under and old political family Dim like Brown than under a GOP gov.

Moonbeam is going to do so many crazy things that the state will collapse. Too bad he won’t have any friends in Washington to bail him out anymore.

I am actually looking forward to it. Lets see Cali institute their ideas once and for all unrestrained.

As a resident of the only slightly less pathetic Washington State, I really feel for California conservatives. Knowing you’re there makes it harder to simply sit back and enjoy watching California go under.

This is what comes from shrugging the shoulders and letting questions of eligibility get swept under the rug. If he’d been disqualified from the ballot when he ran for AG, or removed after the fact, he wouldn’t be standing there tonight.

California is done for. The liberals have killed the Golden State.

I watched the whole speech and there's no appear his brains are fried about it. If he ever had any gray matter, it's been sauteed.

As many of you know, I'm a Texas Rangers baseball fan and we lost to the San Francisco Giants in the World Series. That heartbreak of that night was more than mitigated by realizing that the next morning, I'd wake up here at home in Texas.

Our newly re-elected governor, Rick Perry, is certainly far from perfect. But compared to Governor Moonbeam, Perry seems like a constitutional scholar.
