Good luck, Alpharetta-Roswell and that whole northern corridor of GA is nice with pretty mountains to the north. Nice time to buy a home there too if you are so inclined prices have corrected a lot.
We've reserved a nice spot for you in Texas.
You'll like it.
LOL! You just got a preview of how the state will be ran the next few years. Rambling, incoherent, and senility-based decisions, he could fart and the dupes that voted for him would applaud it.
Two years of Brown and who knows, California might just vote for Sarah Palin by 2012!
I was looking for a transcript but only found video with faint audio, darn it. That rambling was classic, absolute nonsense. A real jaw-dropper. I feel like I live on the lost continent of Atlantis. Just when you think it can’t get worse......
Yeah, he even said a couple of days earlier, "We need to spend more!!!" CA voters have taken idiocy to a new low... if possible.
I have a better translation of his remarks though: Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz etc. etc. Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam Moonbeam
So did you vote for Whitman or did you help let Jerry Brown get elected by sitting on the sidelines and voting 3rd party?
I voted straight Republican. Luckily, my ballot was pre-marked. I live in the most conservative area of the most conservative city in the state. They know how I’m going to vote.
(it had an “R” next to the name of every candidate I was going to vote for a a “D” for damn their asses beside those Godless abortionist/Marxist pigs whom they know I would never vote for)
Gavin Newsome, brown; flush ‘em down!
Thanks for the reply’s. I went straight Republican as well, except I would not vote for Abel Maldonando after he lent the deciding vote to raise taxes in the prior budget battle - so I just declined to vote in that race.
I hated voting for Whitman but I held my nose and did so. I am terrified of having Loony Tune Jerry Brown as governor again. At least they are right who are currently saying, when California crashes and burns, there won’t be a single Republican they can blame. The House and Senate Republicans are in a clear minority, the budget now takes only 50.1% of the legislature to pass so the Dems will fully own it from now on (I lost that prop vote as well), and there is no other statewide Republican office holder I am aware of.
The CA Socialists fully own it all now, and with prop 23 defeated, we will be seeing the economy grind ever slower. Look for a $25+ billion general fund deficit next budget year. You already know that their next year’s tax increases won’t see revenue increased and so they will roll this deficit over each year until people quit buying CA bonds and they have to cut spending. Cold day in hell, I think.
I live in Yuba City. We are pretty conservative ourselves. Before that I was 12 years living in the city of San Francisco so I could work on the bay bridges. Work was great but I came to absolutely hate living with the congestion, high cost, and liberal insanity of SF. Monthly gay rights parades. Weekly anti-Bush/anti-war protests. They banned my guns, even knowing the CA Supreme Court would throw it out.
I appreciate your effort to fight the conservative fight nationwide, but CA is a lost cause. We are doomed.
Thanks for responding to me. I appreciate it.
And Kamila Harris as well. It is as if only the city of San Francisco controlled the entire statewide election.
We are so screwed. I move to Virginia in 8 long years.
