Bristol Palin Eyeing Big Money Deals Post-'Dancing'

Bristol Palin didn't technically win 'Dancing With the Stars' last week, but financially, the 20-year-old mom is paso doble-ing all the way to the bank.
"Bristol made over $345,000 from being on the show and currently is getting $35,000 for each speaking gig she does," an insider reveals to me. "Yet, all that is going to feel like pocket change if one or two of the big deals she's currently working on actually happens."
Palin family friends tell me there is a major deal in the works for Bristol to be the spokesperson for a middle American fashion brand, as well as a book deal and a multi-million offer to appear on another reality show.

The media had a “hands-off” code with regard to Ms. Clinton. She is hardly a saint and yes some photos of drunken Chelsea did find their way onto the internet. Don’t kid yourself regarding the supposed “virtue” of Chelsea. You would do well to remember she comes from a mother who is in full support of “choice” and if Chelsea were to have been “knocked-up” (as you so colorfully put it), she would have quietly (again the media would stay silent) had it “taken care of”. Do you really believe that Chelsea, daughter of free-lover Billy Bob and a lib Mom like Hillary abstained from having sex during her teen years? Really?

Yep. What I find particularly despicable is how if an unwed mother sees an upswing of an economic situation, she still gets her child support payments. Bristol could very well become a millionaire and still hold out her hand for child support payments.
What this tells me is that the Palin stance of ‘rugged individualism’ or ‘conservatism’ is actually a charade. It tells me that the Palin stance is actually ‘grrrrrrl power’.
If you want to understand slavery in America, talk to a divorced man with kids or a man who has a child out of wedlock. The transfer of money from man to woman under the guise of ‘child support’ has no oversight and even if the woman becomes wealthy, she still gets the money. There is a reason why Obama made child support a signature issue of his (very brief) Senate career. It fits the distribution of wealth he loves.
In his famous essay on the Ruling Class, Codevilla also mentions this issue.
If women actually had to marry men in order to get access to their money, you would immediately see a dramatic decline in premarital sex, in shack-ups, and such “relationships”. I find this to be the most pressing issue in America today because of how it destroys the family.
Anyone cheering Bristol in this should also cheer Levi when he makes money. After all, both Bristol and Levi are making money based on no achievement. Perhaps Bristol and Levi have more in common than we imagined.

The reality shows are hard for me to watch. For instance, American Chopper, the motorcycle-building show. We’re lucky to see ten seconds of motorcycle building. They shoot a lot of personality stuff and edit it together in scenes lasting about 5 seconds.
Too bad Sarah didn’t do a series for PBS but let’s assume she has a strategy.

I posted kind words to you once, truly concerned about a situation (for which you asked for prayers) in your life, only to find that meanwhile you were on other threads trashing fellow Freepers. It truly surprised me to see your behavior. Perhaps you should take care in how you trash others and look for the log in your own eye.
Rehabilitate her image via a reality show or through the same media establishment that tried to destroy her.

Well, I suppose if Chelsea has gotten “knocked up” Bill and Hillary would have argued for an abortion, you know - so that Chelsea wouldn’t have to go through life with big target on her back.
Quite frankly, I’m really proud Bristol kept her baby. It shows a level of understanding, maturity and love many liberals don’t possess.
Further, if Bristol’s options are to make a shit load of money and make life a little easier, or go back to Wasilla and work as a receptionist - I suspect she is thinking of her future earnings. Again, Chelsea doesn’t have to worry about money because her public servant parents are multi-millionaires. Gee, how does that work again? Public servants with millions? Oh - but let’s beat up someone who has an option to make money - even if it is entertainment?
If Sarah can get her son on The Bachelor and her daughter Willow on Temptation Island, then she might be getting ready for the White House.
