He saw Ms Meg standing behind the bar so he walked over and greeted her with: "Buenas nachmittag, Senora Meg. Comment ça va?"
Meg didn't look up from what she was doing and gave no indication that she was even aware of his presence.
"Looks like I'm being shunned", fewz says to himself, "Wonder what I did"?
Fews sees Ms jaycee and Ms yorkie seated at a table engaged in lively conversation so he ambles over to see if they knew why Ms Meg was mad at him.
"How are you ladies doing today?" No response. No acknowledgement of his presence at all. "Is everybody shunning me?" Still no response at all.
Could he be having a NDE, fewz wondered. He didn't recall dying and leaving his body. But it was obvious to the most casual observer that, while he could see the folks on Amy's Place, they couldn't see him. Then he heard it. Ever so faintly at first. He recognized the melody as the volume increased. So that's what was taking place. That's why no one could see or hear him.

You may need to ‘urry, Ms yorkie. I would be willing to swear that I just saw a jumbuck come strolling up like the King ‘imself and with not so much as a by-your-leave to the swagman, ‘e commenced to drink water from the billabong. And I would be willing to swear that said swagman jumped up, grabbed the jumbuck and was laughing like a ‘yena as ‘e shoved that jumbuck into ‘is bloody tucker bag.
That has been known to cause “fuzzy keys”.
