Everyone.....I enjoyed my family and Addyson’s 8th birthday party today. Its been raining here today but not too cold. I am getting ready to fix an oyster stew with my remaining oysters. I am watching a little of the Oscars. I can take it or leave it if you know what I mean!!And “Who Are You Wearing?” LOL! They just love themselves so much in Hollywood that they can’t hardly stand it!!

Great picture! My wife is a beautiful blond, I run her crazy with blond jokes.
A Church-goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. "I've gone for 30 years now," he wrote, "and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all."
This started a real controversy in the "Letters to the Editor" column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher:
"I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I do know this... They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!"
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes the dance and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back, or by pressing lightly in one direction or another. It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person, and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
GUIDANCE. When I saw "G," I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i."
God, "u" and "i" dance!
God, you, and I dance.
This statement is what guidance means to me.
Become willing to trust that you will get guidance about your life.
Become willing to let God lead.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead and to guide you through each day of your life.
PRAYER Dear God, if I may be walking through fields that are rough with grief and care,
may I have the courage to continue on to the smooth pastures, where I may walk with comfort and peace.
May I not let the weariness that may come to my me dwarf my hope and enjoyment of the future. Amen.
