While Christina Aguilera flubbed her lines by mistake, Super Bowl performers the Black Eyed Peas fudged the lyrics to one of their halftime songs on purpose.
The quartet descended from the top of the football stadium on individual platforms and sang a medley of "I Gotta Feeling," "Boom Boom Pow," "Pump It," "Get It Started," "Time of My Life" and a new version of "Where Is the Love?" featuring a message to President Obama.
Singing against a backdrop of glow-in-the-dark words that spelled out "love," will.i.am changed the words to the hit song in order to include a plea for Bam's help to improve the nation.
"In America we need to get things straight/Obama let's get these kids educated/Create jobs so the country stays stimulated/This is dedicated to all the innovators," he sang.

Their music is liberal enough, no need for updates. Still, I usually enjoy their music. At least, I like it for workouts. I tend to ignore the lyrics anyway. Even still, that little change annoyed me.
Musicians busting Bush’s balls for two terms, and now we have to deal with musicians sucking up to Obama? Gag me.
“I Got A Feeling” is about the only song I can tolerate because it’s played just before the hockey games here. It puts you in a pretty good mood. All those other songs are crap.
The NFL has been a liberal bastion for quite some time now. No one who calls himself conservative should be watching or otherwise patronizing it.
I feel this strange sense of vindication for not watching even a single minute of this travesty.
“create jobs so the country stays stimulated”...typical liberal moron....will.I.am...smart.i.aint
I always check my college forum for sports amd they were killed on the forum.
Obama let’s get these kids educated/Create jobs so the country stays stimulated
Sorry, that’s not the president’s job.
....once again, the enablers succeed in forcing Dumbo’s name to appear......we thought Saddam’s posters all over the place was odd, not so anymore. It gives you insight, and now that he is in campaign mode, he’ll be popping up like a zit.
As I opined last night, I had heard the name but (thankfully) had never heard them "perform."
Muted it after about 30 seconds as they sounded like a bunch of screeching cats.
Their outfits would have fit right in with the "bar scene" in Star Wars.
What TF is happening to the NFL?
I would think that there are more people over 30 than under who watch the SP, so why this apparent act which seems to be aimed at the younguns, I'll never know.
WHAT PISSED ME OFF THE MOST was--after wasting all that time with the "Peas"--when acknowledging the first living MOH recipient since Nam, Sgt. Giunta, they went to a commercial.
I know that commercials are "scheduled" but you can't tell me that either NFL and/or Fox, could not have waited to recognize this HERO when all the Millions (from around the World) could have witnessed this?
Almost makes a skeptic such as I, want to think that someone did not want to "offend" anyone, is anti-Military/America/War (oops, "Overseas Contingency Operations") and I would hate to think this was done intentionally.
That did it for me.
I changed the channel and watched something else.
A pox on both their miserable houses!
Last good shows were U2 and the surprisingly interesting combination of Nsync and Aerosmith.
Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld’s Super Bowl prediction was that the Black-Eyed Peas would suck.
He was right.
So......well at least Green Bay is a Republican town. That’s about the only positive I take away from the result of the game. That and the mighty Brett Favre has now passed from the memory of Packer fans and into oblivion. LOL @ him.
My impression?... worst flat out half time show ever.
Jerry Jones should be in a rage today.... The Super Bowl is no place for politics.
Are you listening Bill O'Reily?
Aside from the Obama shoutout, they were horrendous.
I expect nothing but an "excreble" performance by a band that made it name by singing "Lady Lumps".
? What are you talking about? “College forum for sports”...”they were killed on the forum”...are you a member of the College Vague Reference Club?
The P’s certainly won’t be accused of lip sync’ng. Get them out of the studio and they sound awful. Fergie’s screeching even had the dog looking up.....
Wow, I don’t blame you a bit. I admit I was very interested in the MOH hero, and was pointing him out to my son when they cut away from him, leaving all of us wondering how we missed it.
Maybe it’s my taste in music, but I enjoyed Tom Petty’s run through his catalog a number of years back.
Forgot about Petty. Yes, I enjoyed him, and discovered that a few songs on the radio were in fact his. Didn’t go over big with the crowd I was watching with, IIRC, but I did enjoy that one.
