Thank you Billie. That means a lot. I had a cute graphic I was going to post when I spotted the little girl in my files, so it just had to be her. She made me smile and am glad it did others.
Thank you so much, yorkie. Can’t beat children or pets! I just thought she was beautiful and had to be posted. I had another one ready but changed my mind!!!
An adorable little girl and lovely frame! A REAL day brightener!
Thank you!
Your post is so beautiful and warmed up this cloudy chilly day! Thank you!
Uh....sorry...I couldn’t get through the entire song! :)
I know - me neither! What disturbs me, is that this is a good example of where the minds of many of our youth are, today.
It is SO much about partying, and SO little about LEARNING.
Hebrews 12:6 (New King James Version)
“6 For whom the LORD loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Revelation 3:19 (New King James Version)
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Very interesting that God does not chastise those that have not sought Him.

English Standard Version (©2001)
“For many are called, but few are chosen.

Blessing and cursing. God will come: and his wrath will judge .
Good morning, Amy. I still love that song - I just love the tone of her voice. I’ve burned 3 or 4 cds for my car with nothing but songs like many of those I’ve used here on Amy’s Place. I haven’t listened to the radio in ages - I can put 18 songs on a CD and mix them up with songs from various artists and don’t ever skip a song like sometimes we’re prone to do with a full album by an artist. :)
I just listened to the music again......it is such a beautiful and yet sad song. The graphic is a perfect choice to go with the music, Billie! Thank you!
Thank you, teenie. Glad you enjoyed it. I have been upstairs doing a few things and now I am starting downstairs.
Good morning, Billie.
That song is beautiful. She has such a clear pleasant voice. I couldn’t believe that it was in 2009 that we used this graphic.
The old links to the music no longer work ... it is great to be able to find them on YouTube so we can re-use these classics.
I’ve found a couple of great YouTube songs but have not been able to find the perfect graphic. I may send you the link so you can see if you have something in your files. :)
Hope you are having a lovely Monday. I think the rain has finally stopped here.
Thank you, Meg. Its hard getting back to chilly days after your 90’s! Its dreary and rainy here this morning and the temperature is 41. Its getting a little brighter in one part of the sky but we’ll see. I don’t have to go out so it doesn’t matter to me.
Annoying? YES!
No wonder when a girl looks like that at 13 and tells a guy she’s 19, he believes it. Ridiculous! There is no seriousness in today’s youth....just like it says party, party. And if they’re not partying they’re on their phones talking, texting, and on and on.
No one ever reads a good book, etc. Most of them do not have good handwriting as it is a thing of the past...so sad!
How PRECIOUS, Jaycee! And such a pretty frame, as well! Thank you very much! For a moment, thought that might be Braelyn! :)
What a beautiful story told by the graphic, the music and a real singer. I loved this. Thank you, Amy and Billie. I miss Barbara Mandrell....she was so talented and so beautiful, too!
Do I like this? Hmmmmm......NOT SO MUCH!
What a beautiful graphic! Wonderful but sad song, as well! Enjoyed hearing Barbara Mandrell! Wonder what ever happened to her? Thank you!!
