Sometimes love is a big paddle the size of an oar that hangs on a principles wall. Sometimes, love is telling the truth even though it hurts.

IMO I seem to recall how in America the original intent was to establish schools and to teach youth to read the Bible in the original text- and Latin,Greek, and often Hebrew were required language. Now -as the Americans United published some time ago “In 1962 Madalyn Murray O’Hair kicked God, the Bible ,and Prayer from School.(Or something along those lines) My Strongs Concordance suggests the Greek term used in John 13:35 is agape=love i.e. affection or benevolence...And when the Bible is not taught line by line precept by precept and
the English is taught -and the text not always given proper attention. It is easy to understand why too many today confuse agape love -with tolerance and full acceptance with no judgement for sin.
