African??
African??
This could only be there if they changed it from BLACK after the fact. And that would make the form "invalid on its' face".
And don't forget, recorded documents are only evidence...not proof.
especially documents recorded by ukelele
U.K.L Lee
African? Black?
Back them in my day and age they were called Negro.
“African??”
That’s a dead-end. At the time, Hawaii put down as race whatever the parents self-reported it as. People need to stop focusing on that, since it’s a non-issue and is already being cited by the media as evidence that “birthers” are just racist.
I think in 1961, the official race of the parents was put on the birthcertificate, not the continent of one of the parents. I believe the word “Negro” would have been used instead of African, for this father’s “race”.
Seeing “African” or “Black” in an early ‘60s BC is probably the same as the “th” superscript in the doc Dan Rather created re Bush. Glaring evidence of phoniness. Like letterhead showing a ZIP code before 1963.
Actually in 1961, Negro or Negroid would be more likely. They don't list Stanley Ann as White, they list her as Caucasian, as was proper at that time.

So where is Kenya? Maybe everyone is overlooking the obvious........
