Daniel Radcliffe, John Larroquette and the cast of "How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" perform on the CBS Late Show last Thursday.

""Brotherhood of Man."

Now, you may join the Elks, my friend, And I may join the Shriners; And other men may carry cards As members of the Diners.

Still others wear a golden key Or small Greek letter pin; But I have learned there's one great club That all of us are in.

There is a Brotherhood of Man, A Benevolent Brotherhood of Man, A noble tie that binds All human hearts and minds Into one Brotherhood of Man.

Your lifelong membership is free. Keep agivin' each brother all you can. Oh aren't you proud to be In that fraternity, The great big Brotherhood of Man?

So, Wally, before you consider firing everybody, remember this:

One man may seem incompetent, Another not make sense, While others look like quite a waste Of company expense.

They need a brother's leadership, So please don't do them in. Remember mediocrity Is not a mortal sin.

They're in the Brotherhood of Man, Dedicated to giving all we can. Oh, aren't you proud to be In that fraternity, The great big Brotherhood of Man?

You, you got me; Me, I got you, you!

Oh, that noble feeling, Feels like bells are pealing, Down with double-dealing, Oh Brother!

You, you got me; Me, I got you, you!

Your lifelong membership is free. Keep agivin' each brother all you can. Oh aren't you proud to be In that fraternity, The great big Brotherhood of Man?""

What the heck? John Larroquette has somehow morphed into a David Letterman twin.

That’s one of my favorite shows. They are doing a revival?

You know, it’s on netflix. The movie is one of the few movies made of a show that works. I think because the offices are so much like the actual sets.

According to Wiki it’s based on a book. I did not know that.

In 1952, Shepherd Mead’s satirical book, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, became a bestseller.

Wonder where I could get a copy? Sounds like a fun read.

The book has been reissued by Simon and Schuster for the revival and is available at Amazon.com:

I took my daughter and her best friend to see this show last week for her 14th birthday! It was wonderful! I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone going to New York. Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette have amazing chemistry and are hilarious. Radcliffe can really sing and dance! The female leads are also terrific. The set designs are especially good too. The theater is very small so none of the seats are far from the stage. Larroquette came out on the street after the show and signed autographs for quite a while.

I have seen many Broadway shows and this one is definitely in my top 3.

I own that movie on DVD. I own the vinyl album of the original stage cast. That is probably my favorite musical comedy of all time.

I actually have the original program of the 60’s musical. The big one, not the playbill.

That’s the whole story.

A window washer stops by a stand, picks up the book, and over a few days moves from the mail room to the highest company positions by just reading the book. The problem is, he’s achieving for the sake of achieving, instead of really looking for a position he likes. Of course, the woman he loves sets him straight and everyone ends up happy.

The running gag is how he moves from office to office, moving higher up all the time. In the movie by the end you see him peeking in on LBJ at the WH window...
