Who’d you call a liberal? Are you having fireworks?
There were some going off last night (June 30?) over by where we were having the swim meet. It’s a pretty upscale location, but there’s an old development a short distance away that runs to redneck types and Mexicans, so that’s probably where the early celebration started.
My next-door neighbor usually has a professional-level (totally illegal) display that draws half the neighborhood. Don’t know if he’s doing it this year, since he has a daughter starting college; that may cut into his fireworks budget. DP and the boys are going to South Carolina to buy fireworks for us and another neighbor, and cheap gas.
DP is buying fireworks for cheap gas? Must be planning a big blow-out, eh?
