Congrats to the Bruins. You played lights out. Every ex-pat canadian here in L.A. just coming out of the bar thought that Thomas played lights out.
(stupid Luongo,,,you miserable mediocre goalie, you could play for Team Canada and give everything but you are a damn overrated clown..get lost loser)
and you Sedin twins, STFU! You Swedes couldn't fight back in WW2, and you should not have quaranteed game 7. Go back to sweden, punks!
ahem..going back. Thanks to Ryan Kesler, my favorite Canuck for the journey. and I feel good for Mark Rechii of BB who's from BC, like me.

I had a materal uncle who was a devoted Bruins fan, who has been decesed for a number of years. He would have been so very happy tonight.
I feel bad also for the fans of Vancouver and the Canunks are a very good team, but the Bruins brought their A++++ game tonight.
Imagine trying to get past Chara and then Thomas. Forget it.
Yeah the young kids in New England don’t understand how spoiled they’ve been this past decade.
Boston is now the new “title” town, with ALL four teams in a space of over a decade’s time, Patriots, Red Soxs, Celtics, and now the Bruins.
“greatest playoff goalie performances of all time - Tim Thomas.”
Let me say “Ken Dryden.” 1970 and 1971 were ruled by Ken Dryden. His team was fair... maybe good, but not good enough. He was amazing. Thomas was very good, approaching a Dryden-like performance.
Yep and for Canada, their quest for the loving cup will begin again in a 110 days time.
Enjoy your parade. I’m getting texts from family back home that said everyone is just bummed big time and ready to riot like 96’..
That’s why I said “one of the greatest playoff goalie performances”...I remember Ken Dryden from the 1970s and he was probably the best of all time. 1.65 GAA in his rookie season...2.24 GAA in his entire career!
The Patriots have gone the longest without a championship .... imagine that!
I don’t think you mentioned the Bruins when you made your New Year predictions regarding Boston sports Gopster!
Very classy thread, max americana...
I know just how you feel.
I hope they don’t. I was praying the Boston fans don’t either. That stupidity just pisses me off every single time I see it.
I didn’t! They’re a pleasant surprise!!! I’m very happy for the B’s coach, Claude Julien.
Oh, what time is the President’s Trophy parade tomorrow in Vancouver?
here’s the live footage...just like 94...THEY ARE RIOTING AND BURNING THE CITY. damn losers.
That’s why I call myself “Americana” not canadiana..it’s embarassing..
I'm happy for fellow Michigander Tim Thomas. He's older than me, and won the Conn Smythe Trophy. I was still a kid when Recchi first started playing with Pittsburgh.
I don't like Burrows or LaPierre, but I liked the Canucks and hope Kesler (another Michigander) gets his cup someday. He was Vancover's best player.
I expect Luongo to get traded soon.
I don't think there will ever be a team like the 93 Canadiens. I don't even like Montreal, but I liked that team. 10 Overtime victories. I don't think even Scotty Bowman's Canadiens or the 80's Islanders were that good in OT.
Was that Luongo’s car I saw up in flames?
Kesler’s jersey is my only Canucks jersey when I go to Kings games. (I’m a Kings ticket holder but when the Nucks’ come in...I;m the enemy).
