What movie do you like that most people never seen?
Me

What movie do you love that most people never heard of or seen? Mine is a movie called "Evenhand". I first saw it on IFC, then ordered a copy from Amazon. It is about two policemen in a small Texas town. One is meek and kind while the other is hard. They form a unlikley friendship. It is more plot driven, with little violence. The writing is pretty good.

Meserine. Parts one and two. Unbelievable but a true story.

Highway to Hell - 1991 (Trailer)

Matewan - 1987

Highway to Hell is not a horror movie at all. It stars Patrick Bergen, Adam Storke, Chad Lowe, and Richard Farnsworth, with Gilbert Godfried, Ben Stiller, and Jerry Stiller also appearing. It is only available in VHS, if you are lucky enough to find a copy.

Matewan is a John Sayles production, but packs an all-star cast for such a low-budget movie. It is excellently done, and is based upon a true story. Starring Chris Cooper, Mary McDonnell, James Earl Jones, Bob Gunton, David Strathairn, and Kevin Tighe.

Haha, thanks for reminding me, I'm gonna have to watch it again.

Among a number of kinda cheesy but some of my favorite movies directed by Michael Richie; Diggstown, The Survivors, Fletch, Semi-tough, even The Couch Trip.

Oh brother where art thou

Had never heard of this movie til I moved Down South. It’s a cult classic around here. The kicker for me was the Ku Klux Klan Rally. The music and choreography - breathtaking.

There is an obscure movie in color I saw called “The Beast”. It was about the Russians fighting in Afghanistan.
