Today is the first day of the live thread. Speculation abounds surrounding the surprise one-day recess on Saturday. There is talk of a plea-bargain, discovery violation, witness tampering, and, God forbid, even a mistrial.
Today I heard some feel Chaney Mason may be withdrawing, that he doesn't like working with Jose Baez and is sick of the case.
I believe television coverage begins at 8:00 a.m. and the trial starts at 9:00 a.m.

Casey's eyes are dead as door nails. But I've noticed that her mother's eyes are somewhat dead, too. In a different way, if you know what I mean.

I don’t know what else it could be except her wanting to testify. She’s probably hardheaded enough to think she knows best. She still might testify, but if she does, Ashton will tear her apart.

Another thing that the defense has NEVER explained. Ok so their story is that Caylee died in the pool accidentally..so what the heck did Casey do with the body? The Defense says it was never in the truck, the defense says it was never in the woods where she was found in December 2008, so where the heck was the body all that time..and are we supposed to believe that the meter reader one day was taking a stroll, came across the body and said “Oh wow look, a dead body, hey I think that’s Caylee Anthony, let me take this body home, keep it til December, dump it in the woods, call the cops and collect my huge reward”
This guy is a supposed self proclaimed private eye working for the Anthony’s. This footage is supposed to be him looking in the exact area 1 month before Caylee was found.
The guy comes off bad and it seems contived in a way. Maybe the Anthony’s had this footage made and moved the body there later.
Lots if stuff to confuse things.
Great post. The defense’s claim is so ludicrous! I think they are going to try to pin this awful crime on the poor meter reader (Kronk?!) but I hope the jury is not so stupid as to believe this.
Do you remember how late in the game that the body of Chandra Levy was discovered? She was in plain view in a public park for a long, long time before someone reported a dead body. No one accused the poor soul who discovered her as her murderer.
He’s a “private investigator” who pressed himself on the Anthonys, who (apparently) stupidly, agreed to let him be their bodyguard and investigator. As you may notice, not only does he speak quickly, he can’t even be understood!
The stupid, in-denial Anthonys were way over their heads in this sad case!
Believe me if I am thinking like this some members of the jury are too..where the heck did they put the body..and how the heck did Kronk find it..and if it was all about the money, when he first called the cops in August, how come he didnt direct them to the exact location of the body to collect his big reward, why wait til December..what was SO special about December..that is why the BS defense won’t fly because the defense keeps on saying there was no body in the car and the body was not in the woods so what happened to the body after she died..did it go into outer space then come back down LOL
This man is a trainwreck grifter and opportunist.

Then again, just could be a hired gun, and lying.
I would not put it past him to have found the body and hidden it himself for bucks.
