What about all the animals in Africa that existed at one time and some that still do, heards of wildabeast and zebras for instance, not to mention what a few hundred elephants could do. ]
No to mention all that CO2 from the prairie fires that used to burn from Rocky Mountains to the Missouri river. Also the sustainable grazing of the herds of the millions of buffalo that would migrate leaving nothing but lifeless destruction in their wake.....

Actually, grass-fed cows (and buffalo) don’t have this problem.
If you really want to save the environment, eat grass-fed beef. That’ll piss off the vegans.
