Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.
I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.

It is probably better that they adjourned until tomorrow morning. That way the Prosecution finishes their closing and from there the judge gives the jury his directions and they go right off to deliberate instead of waiting overnight.

I don't agree, I think the jury will be thinking how long the defense dragged this out and how they weren't able to prove the case they presented in opening. Also, the State and the jury will be fresh tomorrow, and the jury will also be seeing a fresh face...Linda Burdick is supposed to give final argument.

Good idea to end for today. I think defense was trying to stall rebuttal until late. Then they can blame the prosecution for their burn out.
Good idea on the judges part. The jury has time to think about the closing arguments today and tomorrow the prosecution can rebut that 5 hours of too much today.
Good idea to pick the female for rebuttal. She is superb and will add the female touch.
