I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.

She also commented that the reward for finding Caylee was half her bond..It’s always all about Casey.
One of my granddaughters is the exact age that Caylee was when she died. When I see all the things she is doing...singing, skipping, etc., I am reminded of how adorable Caylee is on those videos: reading her little storybook, going swimming, etc.
I just cannot fathom that someone could do this to any child, let alone their own. Incomprehensible.
This was helpful to me in understanding what the jury has to understand.
First....To render a Casey Anthony guilty verdict as to first degree murder, the jury must find there was a killing, there was intent, and there was premeditation.
If the jury finds Casey did not kill Caylee, there is no conviction.
If the jury believes that Casey did kill Caylee but not intentionally, there is no conviction.
If the jury finds that Casey did kill her daughter, intended to do it, but didn’t act with premeditation, there is no conviction.
Conviction of first degree murder could result in the death penalty.
Second.... felony murder includes murder plus a felony commission.
To render a Casey Anthony guilty verdict as to felony murder, the jury must find there was a murder plus the commission of a felony. Here the felony in question is aggravated child abuse.
If the jury finds Casey did not kill Caylee, there is no conviction. For this charge, Casey’s intent is irrelevant.
If the jury finds Casey accidentally killed Caylee during the commission of a felony, there is a conviction.
Conviction of felony murder could result in the death penalty.
Third... aggravated child abuse is its own charge in this case. Why?
If Casey is guilty of aggravated child abuse, she is guilty of a felony; she then could face felony murder.
But, if the jury doesn’t convict Casey of aggravated child abuse, she cannot be guilty of felony murder.

My daughter-in-law is an Ace ER Trauma Nurse...she has said that though these teams she works with have seen it all and so learn to numb out in order to go to the next patient, they're always affected when it's a child that comes in. But I will say this...murderers can and do the unthinkable...and more than once. If per chance Casey gets off and I was her parent...I wouldn't be so sure I wouldn't be her next target.

The state has proved Caylee is dead and the family are lunatics. That is all.
Wendy Murphy was on Geraldo tonight.
She doesn’t think Casey killed Caylee. Never has. She thinks Casey was pimping Caylee out for child porn, and one of Casey’s associates killed Caylee and that Casey is covering for them.
Wendy Murphy thinks Casey will be acquitted because...
1. Photographs of Caylee seized from the Anthony home have been sealed from public view by court order as “too prejudicial”. The images are apparently so awful, Casey’s attorney made a very big fuss about Cindy Anthony answering deposition questions about the FACT that the photos exist. Why?

In May and June of 08, when Caylee was sleeping with Casey at a friend’s apartment, Casey got a phone call in the middle of the night, in response to which, she roused Caylee from sleep and delivered her to some unknown location. Then she returned to her friend’s apartment and went to sleep. Casey also delivered Caylee to unknown locations on other occasions when she claimed to be bringing Caylee to a “nanny.” Where did she bring her? Why?
4. Why is the docket sheet in the case under seal? It would show what motions were filed to “seal” certain evidence. It would also show that the case has been designated a sex crime prosecution – which is important given that a sex crimes detective was involved in the early stages of the investigation. Why?
5. Casey searched the internet to learn how to make chloroform; a substance commonly used to sedate children in the making of child porn. The public thinks Casey used chloroform to kill her child, but the drug is popular among parents who pimp their kids because it’s cheap and it causes amnesia so that victims can’t remember being abused.Pimping kids is dangerous business and Casey apparently made someone very angry. ...The distortion of truth in this strange case will lead to Casey’s acquittal, which begs the real question: will the prosecution then have the guts, and the political will, to file new charges against Casey for what she REALLY did to that poor little girl.

It seems Wendy has gone off the deep end.
There are things I do not want to imagine..losing a child or grandchild is one of them..Too horrible
I may not approve of how Cindy(makes me nuts) and sometimes George behaved in all of this but I know they adored Caylee..and are thinking of “if onlys”.
.Getting inside the mind of someone like Casey is impossible for me..though I know she is a narcissist.
She had a beautiful child who got in her way.
I think she was thinking the money would be better used for bailing her out than for a reward to find Caylss..It was in one of those jailhouse tapes.

I recall reading something like this early on but as it wasn’t charged..I discounted it.
I think she will be found guilty of premeditated murder or the next lesser included crime; and I had not followed the case closely, although it is hard to avoid some coverage if you watch Fox News Channel.
I don’t think I buy that version though it certainly is an interesting take.
I think Wendy’s who I heard on Fox tonight. Even Geraldo didn’t quite buy it either..and we know how he is.
Still my concern is the jury will get confused over these various ways of conviction and or not. If some think she’s not guilty but believe she was abusing Casey via the chloroform the at what point does the term aggrivated come into play.
Hopefully the jury will understand the differences between charges... clearly.

Oh absolutely....and I cannot begin to imagine the weight both have on their heart and the many emotions which plague them. Unfortunately I doubt their marriage will survive once all is said and done. Which might not necessarily be a bad thing for George.
George needs to get away from Joan Crawford/Cindy and start a fresh life. And then go up to Jose Baez and clean his clock.
I think that the Wendy assertions bring an element that I feel is truly believable of a psycho like Casey.... she just may have been prostituting her child. Her readiness to throw her whole family under the bus is supportive of believing she was throwing her little girl under the bus as well. She needed money and pimping her child would be nothing to a woman like this. Never really know what truly happened, but I do believe the little girl was most likely sexually used and the killing of her was a cover up of something even more sinister than the case presented.
