The woman, known only as juror number 12 left her job and went into hiding fearing co-workers would 'want her head on a platter'.
Her husband said before leaving she told him: 'I’d rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again.'
He told NBC News he was worried for her health and had his bags packed ready to leave if his 60-year-old wife's name gets released.
The woman, who moved to Florida from Michigan fled the area, retiring from her job working at Publix Grocery over the phone because she didn't feel safe.

I’ve been out of town all day, so didn’t see that. Just amazing, isn’t it? Baez does what con men everywhere do, and the jury bought it, lock stock and barrel. We could sure sell them a bridge or two, or possibly some lovely “waterfront” property, eh? All it takes is a grin and a wink.
Can’t believe the footage I’m seeing of that “juror.” How would she know if there was any evidence or not? She never bothered to listen or to watch during the trial, and afterwards, couldn’t strain her feeble mind to examine evidence or ask for read-backs. Useless.
Not to butt in your conversation but I was watching after the judge gave the jury their instructions and when they left the trial room and went into the room for deliberations.
Someone off camera told the judge that several jurors left their notebooks (including at least one of the alternates). The judge then had that person gather them up, told him/her to take them to the jurors they belonged to and to lock up the alternates notebooks.
I was very curious about it which is why I was still watching to see what would become of those notebooks.
After their verdict, I have to wonder if their “notes” consisted of doodles, hangman games, and new ways to write their own names once they became media stars. ;)
Even if they had notes, even if the notes were not doodles (but I’d have to see proof), the next question you have to ask is, how did they find the time to go over and scrutinize 400 pages of anything? They had made up their minds after about 5 hours.

In Oregon we call them Californicators...unfortunately the major metro areas are mostly such now, and politically Oregon is California North.

Thanks for filling me in on Greta’s 2 part interview with the jury foreman. Due to work constraints I was unable to watch it and I never thought to record it. This foreman does sound like he had a lot of influence on the jurors. I still wonder if Juror #6 (the guy who had a TV cooking show in San Francisco) didn’t give the jurors a lot of ideas about how to hold out for more money, too.

I thought the judge told someone to gather up all the notebooks and to gather all the alternate jurors notebooks and to secure them - not to take those left behind to the jury room. I believe they were all told to leave them behind. I wondered at the time I heard that why they were given notebooks to take notes (if that was their wish) if they weren’t allowed to have them in the jury room....

That was one show I was glad to miss. The first part was torture enough and as I said the next day, the worst interview I had ever seen done - by anyone!! The guy didn’t have anything of substance to say in Part I... I flipped through the channels about 15 minutes after 10 pm and he wasn’t on, so Part II couldn’t have amounted to very much.
Miss Goldilocks, Juror 3 is changing her story all around now. She believed Casey was guilty and she was ready to vote manslaughter and blah, blah, blah.

Keep watch......if there is a book deal in the offing we need to shut it down immediately....even if we don’t know for a fact it’s happening. WE did it for OJ’s book.....we need to keep this off the table. Let Casey take a menial job and WORK for a living. I have no doubt some bleeding heart liberal will hire her.
I don’t know about this jury but when I served on a jury we were given notepads and pencils and we were allowed to take them into the jury room. It makes no sense to take notes if you won’t be allowed to refer to them. I think its just another example of the attitude of this jury.
Exactly! I pointed this out earlier - defendants pay EXPERTS a lot of $ to give what is called "expert opinion". They state their credential and then their opinion. It is very different from just any lay person's opinion. A jury is supposed to consider it as evidence - Who has seen more dead bodies than a M.E.? So - their opinion is based on years of examining dead bodies and looking at crime scenes.
Many reporters commented that they were so surprised that the jurors were not taking notes.... A local tv reporter from Orlando, I believe her name was Kathy Belich (I am from CT but watched this tv stations coverage online) said over and over how few notes these jurors were taking.... she was sitting in the court room and observed this ...the only one that she said was taking notes was an alternate.
