Bachmann is rather outspoken, and I'm assuming you're not seeing women disliking her, so not sure that's a problem.

I'm a woman and like Palin. I know other women who like Palin. But I agree, there are women who don't. I haven't figured out why, myself. My personal unsubstantiated opinion is because they feel threatened by her. The ones that don't like her seem to latch onto any perceived imperfection, even to the sound of her voice. She's intelligent, beautiful, successful, has a man who adores her, a loving family even though the kids aren't perfect, and is happy with her life. They might not admit it, but I think that's the deep-down reason.

If the past is any indication, few GOP-ers really have the moxie to truly come out ‘fighting’ against Obama and the media, especially when the pressure is on them.

That said, Perry will probably be a scrappy fighter, even though the media will start ridiculing him like he’s some kind of goofy, comic neanderthal out of “The Flintstones.” Which, sometimes, he sorta is. Bachman will fight pretty valiantly, but I have a notion she’ll get too strained or self-conscious when the heat really gets turned up. Palin will fight back unrelentingly, and probably keep them all flustered and off-balance with her unpredictable, assymetrical approach... which I’d love to see, but she still has a pretty steep hill to climb.

Don’t really have faith in the others to really bring the battle to directly to Obama and his minions in the media, even though there are some other good guys like Cain, who can’t really seem to gain traction.

While it is important that we get a candidate strong enough to beat Oboma, it is equally important that we get someone strong enough to deal with the avalanche of opposition from the media, democrats, and establishment republicans after they win. Any republican who beats Oboma will, along with their family, be attacked unmercifully. To make the changes necessary, the winner will need to be a real fighter and not someone concerned with their image or being accepted by the media and Washington elite. In my mind, that limits the field considerably.

An interesting question, in regards to what women think about Palin versus Bachman. So far, I’ve not quite gotten the sense that Bachman has received the ire from women that Palin has. My assumption is that Bachman is viewed more in the light of a typical politician (albeit a conservative one), whereas there’s something truly unique about Palin that transcends politics, into the realm of cultural iconography, where she is seen as a far more dangerous threat to liberalism, beyond simple politics. As such, I admit I tend view Palin as a much more powerful figure.

Don’t kid yourself, the Libs would be going after Bachmann with a vengeance if they thought she could get the GOP nomination/win the general election against Obama.

Truthfully Michele Bachmann is a sideshow.

We may think a lot of things about the Dems—evil, nefarious, Machaevellian etc but they are NOT stupid. Don’t confuse Obams’s drones with who runs the Democratic party and work directly for Obama. They know every trick in the book. They live and breathe politics on a 24/7 basis. They always know the lay of the land.

In sporting terms, Sarah Palin is a superstar; Michele Bachmann is a journeyman. In politics journeymen rarely prevail; in politics as in sports, superstars dominate and win a lot more often than they lose.

That is why Sarah Palin is dangerous to the Left. Everything else—narratives, memes, disinformation, propaganda—is smoke and mirrors.

“Right now Charles Manson could win against Obama”

Don’t count on it - most blacks & hispanics, silly brainwashed kids, the 50% non-taxpayers and Dems (even most of the disgruntled ones) will still vote for him.

Yet I really believe we have a good shot at it - if we choose the strongest, most widely impressive one who can best go up against BHO in debate and win over the all-important Independents plus as many of the others above as possible. And if we unite behind the end challenger to BHO with our votes, realizing that a second, far worse term of him spells death for the Republic.

Hello, I am a woman and I have supported Sarah Palin since the first time I heard her speak, the first time she spoke as McLame’s VP.

“I am Sarah Palin”

Cheers!

: )

PS-I can’t understand why any conservative person would not support Palin. Beats me. They’ll all be calling her President Palin soon enough.

“Women do not like Sarah. I do not understand why, but they don’t.

Perhaps it is because she is outspoken.
Women talk a good game of being outspoken, but do they really like to see it in other women?”

My wife loves Sarah Palin.

But if some women won’t vote for her for that reason and against their own best interests, I say they have some very, very, very, personal issues.
