details will be coming out shortly

the storm looks HUGE area wise

all models say SE US to Gulf coast hit...the main factors will be Cuba and Hispaniola strength wise(if it can aviod these landmasses or only spend a short time over them)

Models show excellent upper air and ocean heat factors otherwise

not on NHC website yet :)...but trust me..its in their inhouse products..oublic info will be coming out soon.

Recon just left the area after flying around the storm all afternoon..they found west winds which means a closed low...they skipped the tropical depression stage

looks like NHC will go with 50MPH to start...

if someone could post a satellite shot(forgot how) you can see the size of this thing

Looks like a rain maker for some part of the US. 5 days out and 50 mph winds.

Yep! It's big! It will be limited by a track over islands but if it gets in the very warm Gulf of Mexico water, as a large hurricane, it could a serious problem.

Potential good news for the drought sufferers from Texas Northeast...

A projected track that far east of Texas will draw down drier subsided air from the north. Which means low dew points and heat.

What we need is a large sloppy slow moving T.S to hit at about Brownsville, and then move NNW.
