Someone needs to nail down the definition of that term once and for all. "Transgendered", for all I thought I knew, was different for "transsexual". (Hmm, spell-check says double-s. Didn't know that either...)
Transgendered, I've been informed, perhaps incorrectly, was supposed to apply to those who were "confused" or something about their identity. No, I haven't gotten a decent definition for the term that hasn't sounded like a mental disorder which needed treatment or therapy not understanding and acceptance.
I do not want to nail down the trans-whatever definitions or any of that. I really don’t want to think about any of it.
I want to live and let live, but don’t want to have this forced down our throats.
I have to wonder if ABC has an agenda, to put out this trans-whatever person, and dare anybody to say anything about he/she/it. The way political correctness works, we’re all assumed to be liberal, and if we’re good liberals, we won’t say anything. Only evil Neanderthal bigots would say anything, according to politically correct ideology.
And maybe ABC wants to incite controversy, to pump up ratings. They either want to prove how liberal they are, or inflate the ratings.
I want to see if that inane comedian, Kathy Griffin, chastises Chazz Bono over her/his morbid obesity. She mercilessly went after Bristol Palin over weight.
