I'm pretty happy most days reading FR...
It's the one place mostly-intelligent people meet to discuss important issues with decency, mixed with just the right amount of strongly held opinions.
But for crying out loud, lay off Christine O'Donnell already.
Who’s she and why does she deserve her own thread? Can she sing better than Amy Whitehouse?
Amy Winehouse is dead, so yeah, Christine O’Donnell can sing better than she can.

Why the dismissal of O’Donnell on FR? Her silly walk off on CNN while pimping her book didn’t help her any. She knows she is a lightening rod for disdain and ridicule by the left. Why go on CNN? If you are going on, you had better be able to handle a light weight Commie like Piers Morgan and not fold like a cheap umbrella. There is also the new information that by all accounts, her team lied about her and Palin’s relationship to get a spot at the IA Tea Party event.
I understand you sadness over this. I sent cash to her campaign a few time thinking she could win. It just appears now that she is not ready for prime time and needs to move on to a regular day job like everyone else. Her delusion that she is the next Sarah Palin isn’t going to pan out.

Last thing I saw on her was where she was going to sue regarding the witch thing....
She got batted around because her chances of collecting any damages is <1% because she has to prove she would have won if it wasn’t for this.

I don’t think anyone just gets shouted down on these boards on this side of the aisle........maybe they were just making good logical arguments that hurt ... everyone is wrong ever once in a while
Obviously Christine O’Donnell has Palin Derangement Syndrome.
I believe Chrissy has a good political career still ahead of her. She’s made a few missteps in her life, but.....thanks be unto God that all MY screw-ups through the years are not put up on a JumboTron for all the sinless people here on FR to nitpick.

You and I part company on every utterance from the other, but boy am I with you on this one. COD is harmless, not politically as astute as she should have been, but what echos in my mind is that she was AHEAD in that race! That is, before the Rove & Co., Establishment hired on to save Castle and destroy her? Christine was as true an example of citizen representation as I’ve seen, who did not come up through the “machine”. A shoe string and nothing. She couldn’t afford real handlers, consultants and advisors and that is probably what killed her campaign against the RINO establishment. Since then, it seems every one has to be seen throwing stones at her to prove their own testosterone.
I still don’t get what was behind the horror of the Palin handlers to Christine’s appearance in Iowa either. Was that even true? The thing was over dumping COD from the event? A threat to whom exactly could a banished former candidate, who is running for nothing, be? COD is trying to rehabilitate her image, sell a book and make a few friends. Who should care, really? The girl does have a story to tell. Good for you to end the unnecessary bashing.
God forbid.
That's the thing Tucker. A little forsight never hurts. Even if I had the wealth and the looks to be a politician, I'd pass because I have the good sense to know that every journalist from PBS to National Review would get lost in my closet looking at all the skeletons.
You might believe she has a political career ahead of her, but I'm willing to bet you've been wrong about other things too.

Scapegoating was the one thing the O’Donnell campaign did well.
