I’m watching Chris Christie at the Reagan Library (on FNC) - and I have a sneaking suspicion that he will announce that he has decided to RUN for ‘the good of the country’.
I could be wrong - it’s just a hunch.

I’m watching, too.
His brother said a little while ago that he wasn’t going to run but we haven’t heard it from the horse’s mouth. I love what he has to say. Just compare it to that screaming maniac of late,....Mr.O.

Not At This Time
September 28, 2011
It can be quite discouraging for wanna-be writers to get their work rejected time after time. When they send in a manuscript to a publisher, theyll often hear back in a letter with these words: Thank you. But your submission does not meet our needs at this time. Sometimes this really means not at this timeor ever. So they try the next publisher and the next.
Ive found that the phrase This does not meet our needs at this timeor ever can be a helpful saying in my Christian walk to renew my mind and refocus my thoughts on the Lord.
Heres what I mean. When starting to worry, we can remind ourselves: Worry does not meet my needs at this timeor ever. My hearts need is to trust God. I will be anxious for nothing (Phil. 4:6).
When we envy what another person has or does, we can reinforce the truth: Envy does not meet my needs at this timeor ever. My need is to give thanks to God. His Word says, Envy is rottenness to the bones (Prov. 14:30), and In everything give thanks (1 Thess. 5:18).
We cant renew our minds by ourselves (Rom. 12:2); its the transforming work of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. Yet speaking the truth in our thoughts can help us to submit to the Spirits work within.
For Further Thought
What are some areas you struggle with in your heart?
Ask God to renew your mind that it might think like His.
Then keep reminding yourself of the truth.
The Spirit of God renews our minds
when we review the Word of God.
Read: Romans 11:3312:2
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Romans 12:2

I listened to the WSJ report at 5:30 AM. He announced that he has no intention whatsoever in running....
Gotcha ! : )

In a tough spot, I always ask myself, what would God have me do? Works every time.

"And I appreciate everyone reading....!"There are many who don't say much, but who read and absorb the message each day.
So, I'll jump in and tell you I am one of those. Many mornings, it seems to be speaking only to me. (And I am sure there are many 'other' lurkers out there.)
So, I sincerely thank you for not only the Daily Bread, but for your dedication to posting it each morning.

Mayor, thank you, for the devotion today.
Another thought stimulating and blessing to all that reads it.
‘Not At This Time’
turning it from a negative to a positive ...
It is the right time to pray,
it is the right time to follow our Lord and savior,
it is the right time to do good
it is the right time to bless all we meet,
it is the right time to ask forgiveness,
it is the right to give forgiveness
there is no better time than now ...
the right time ... to say thanks.

Good morning, Jaycee. I’m wishing a WF Wednesday for you.
I get here late on Wednesdays this year. Instead of school starting at 8:00, it starts at 10:00. Instead of an early release on Mondays, they have a late start on Wednesdays. I have no idea what their reasoning is. It must be to confuse parents. LOL

Amy, your opening is a 'smile grabber' this morning.
It reminded me of this:
OK....who's ball IS it?
DOG PROPERTY LAWS
1. If I like it, it's mine.
2. If it's in my mouth, it's mine.
3. If I can take it from you, it's mine.
4. If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
5. If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
6. If I'm chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.
7. If it just looks like mine, it's mine.
8. If I saw it first, it's mine.
9. If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically
becomes mine.
10. If it's broken, it's yours.
