Good Morning Amy’s Place!
Finally the heat of summer is over in Southern Wisconsin.
Now we have my favorite time of year, fall.
The bugs are becoming fewer, makes for better times riding the horses.
We had lots of days in the 90’s to near 100 this summer with our oppressive humidity.
Thinking of all the Americans dealing with wildfires, flooding and recovering from the summer tornados(tornadoes?). God Bless them all.
We had a windstorm last Saturday at 4am. Had more trees down than we have since we moved here 16 years ago. We chainsawed them yesterday and it’s all back to normal with the trees off the soybeans. Cleaned up some trees in yard while we were at it.
I thought of that picture of Ronald Reagan, and the one of GW Bush clearing trees and brush while we were working yesterday.

It is still warm here but with the days getting shorter, we should start having fewer 100+ days. I always look forward to fall. It is a lovely time of the year.
