Perry endorsed Algore...who was a conservative Dem candidate for POTUS. Perry was not his state campaign chairman. Perry was a conservative Democrat...as were many Texans back then.

I was an active practicing democrat.
Reality eventually leads lots of folks out of the democrat party.
Yesterday the most virulent Pro-Palin/anti-Perry poster on Free Republic got the zot. He'd been here since 1999. It goes to show that if you are a virulent anti-Anybody-but-Romney, you may find yourself zotted.
Why not just be pro-Anybody-but-Romney?
