(1) Perry was never Algore's campaign manager in Texas. He endorsed Gore, was never "a big time campaigner." Stop lying about it.

I keep trying to point out the reality of not just Texas politics, but the politics of most of the South, particularly in the 80's and 90's. If you wanted to be in state or local politics in the south, for the most part, that meant being a Democrat. Southern Democrats would vote for the GOP on the national level, but for the Democrats on the local level. Sorry if you cannot comprehend that.
