As always the problem. The GOP is a mystery.

We know what Obama will do and that the GOP acts conservative while he is in office.

The problem arises when they have a GOP President. The GOP goes spend crazy.

If Perry gets elected. I suspect he will push for Amnesty.

I hope his Presidency fails if he goes left. And, if Perry does act like I think he will. The GOP is finished.

Perry has a fatal flaw - his support for amnesty and illegal immigration. Understandable, given the support he gets from the service industries and Chamber of Commerce who want the cheap labor.

It is OK with the Republican Establishment (think Bush/Rove/McCain/Graham), but it is a killer for generating grass roots support so necessary for a campaign and get out the vote efforts.

Nobody except the insiders worked for McCain because he treated conservatives as pawns. Obama’s people were everywhere.

Likewise, nobody will work for Perry, and Obama will win easy. Remember, this is not a problem for the Republican Establishment. They live well and will continue to live well even in a second Obama term. They will just wait until one of their RINOs eventually wins and they become the chosen people again. The rest of us however, will see our country disintegrate and our culture evaporate and our living standards decline.

>> I ask only one thing. If you vent here, please inform your fellow freepers of who you actually support for the Nomination.

This simple request is largely being ignored. (Wonder why?)

Maybe you should have used size 12 red bold. :-)

I’m interested in him as a viable candidate. Interested means I’ll follow him, read comments about him and even go to a rally-if he comes to California again. Gingrich has the “smarts” but has real character problems. Romney is a weather vane on perfect ball bearings. The rest of the Republican candidates current or possible seem to be not worth the time or effort.

I don’t know if Perry needs to toughen up for this campaign, but his supporters on here do. If you guys are like this now, God help you if he wins the nomination and the Chicago boys start in on him.

It's called the Primary process pal. If you really can't stand the front runner then become a delegate in your Precinct caucus and work in the nomination of someone else from a grassroots level. We don't “destroy” candidates. The politics of destruction is a Democrat thing, NOT ours.

99.99999% of the people in the United States aren't fit or equipped to be President, myself included. Just because you think that a person should not hold the office of President doesn't mean you think that they are scum. I am sure Rick Perry is a good man and he appears to be a competent Governor, but he is not my choice for President.

In all actuality there are only three people presently running for the Republican nomination that I wouldn't vote for at all and two that I would have to Uncle ‘Jack’ and Brother ‘Jim’ for a bit before I went and voted.

Perry is a corrupt-o-crat, just as is Obama, and as was GWB, Clinton, GHWB, and all surrounding them. The reason the Bushes don't like Perry is that he is so blatant and amateurish about his corruption -- an embarrassment to professional corrupt-o-crats who are slick enough to hide their corruption behind a maze of globalist connections.

And no, I won't give any clues about whom I support for President; holding my cards close to the vest; loose lips sink ships; mums the word; nobody's business; I'm still trying to decide; or whatever.

“RICK PERRY MUST BE DESTROYED!!!”

I'm sure Rick's friends at La Raza would disagree.

How does hating Rick Perry and wanting him destroyed fit into your promotion of The Four Spiritual Laws?

There’s a few sour grapes of the bunch called Perry but why destroy the whole thing. Reagan is long gone and Obama is the full opposite. Perry would be a huge upgrade and so would Romney but Reagan they ain’t.

Perry personally forcefully injected a million Texas girls with something that wasn’t even a vaccine, but was merely a low-grade tequila that was driven right through the open boarder of TexMexico on a highway built by an international cadre of Build-A-Bear members, all of which have great hair.

Rick Perry is Bill Clinton’s and George W. Bush’s cloned voodoo child. He has Slick Willy’s slickness and G. W.’s thickness and he’ll be bumbling from lefist to conservative and back to leftist positions for four years.

Thanks PM ...

Perry is GWB lite...

they kept trying to tell us Bush was a conservative ..when he was actually moderate to liberal

Perry was a Democrat until politely being a Republican was of more benefit ..

He actually supported Gore..

He is trying to appeal to Christians with his “prayer meeting”trouble is all he showed was he thinks everyone that says they are Christian is..he had some questionable folks up on that stage

He is a phony..

Who do I support.. Christie is on my list ..

Well, I’m frankly not interested in your effort to get Republicans fighting each other.

You’d have, you would like to puff this up into some giant thing. The fact is, every person up here understands Obamacare is a disaster. It is a disaster procedurally. It was rammed through after they lost Teddy Kennedy’s seat in Massachusetts. It was written badly, it was never reconciled. It can’t be implemented. It is killing this economy.

And if this president had any concern for working Americans, he’d walk in Thursday night and ask us to repeal it because it’s a monstrosity. Every person up here agrees with that.

I for one, and I hope all of my friends up here, going to repudiate every effort of the news media to get Republicans to fight each other to protect Barack Obama who deserves to be defeated. And all of us are committed as a team, whoever the nominee is, we are all for defeating Barack Obama.
