Sarah's dad taught her to hunt and to fish. These skills are used by a battle commander as well. When stalking game and you are hiding along their watering route if you get itchy it does no good to jump up and yell at the elk or deer "Come on and get within range, You are letting me down."
Though many have done it, standing in a boat and yelling at the water "Why are you not biting? You are letting me down" does not bring you any fish.
Study battles and learn how important timing is. The veteran knows how to hold his fire till the optimum time. Sarah is an unusually skilled tactician.

Sitting here watching her on Greta right now. She sounds like she really does not know what she’s going to do. Simply hasn’t been able to make up her mind yet.
If she genuinely still does not know what she wants to do at this point...........that’s not a good sign. A person truly committed to the idea of leading the free world and stealing-up for the long, hard fight should not be dithering at a time like this. I don’t think it endears her any.
This thread is as concentrated a collection of PDS circlejerkers as I’ve yet seen on FR, and it’s up against some damned stiff competition !

I predict she will announce on September 17th - on September 18th you will expose yourself as a Mittens supporter by attacking her. I would rather take the risk of losing with Palin than allow conservatism to be destroyed by a RINO like Romney. Whether Palin is the next Reagan, or the next Goldwater that leads to the next Reagan, anything would be better than Romney.

Governor Palin has made it very clear that she doesn’t even know what her intentions are, according to the interview on Greata five minutes ago. GAWD, even she sounded tired of herself. Asked when her own drop deadline was, she had NO ANSWER WHATSOEVER, other than the bitterness showing that the media would not be telling her. Hells bells, it’s not the media. Her own followers are falling off right and left and this can’t end pretty. Palin needs to get in and get her boot pointed towards the horse. Then she can see for herself what her future is and so can the rest of us get some rest.

I'm guessing her family is reluctant to endure the attacks from the MSM & general stress during the campaign & in the White House, so she is waiting to see if conservatives are strongly represented in the GOP primaries. If so, & that remains to be seen, she will probably not get into the race. If I had her family responsibilities, I think 2016 or 2020 would be better timing to run for President.
If you recall, back in Feb.(?), the MSM decided to boycott Palin, & stop talking about her. Truth is, much of her publicity back then was from the outrageous attacks on her by the MSM & various Leftist hacks. That backfired on them, but they figured it out. Since then, Palin was written out of the news.
Too, since she is not running for Pres., she lacks the magnetism of an actual candidate. That is to be expected.
Palin is doing well for herself on the speech circuit. She remains a powerful force on the Right. I expect that to continue even beyond the 2012 election. An endorsement from her would be a big boost for any candidate. I expect her to be a political force for a long time.

If she is undertaking some sort of uber-clever misdirection campaign all leading up to a last minute surprise candidacy, I think shes’ playing it too cute by half. She is losing valuable time, money, and resources with the half in, half out “oh goodness I just can’t decide” routine. Heck, I think Perry just squeaked in at the last realistic moment.
Easy to critique with no skin in the game, but at least she didn’t tweet it or have somebody post something on Facebook for her.
So taglines are founded on immutable truths? The type of attacks you use against Palin are the same as we saw coming out of the Romney camp at the end of the 2008 campaign. Just saying...
