Richard III
A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!
A tower of strength
Now is the winter of our discontent
Short shrift
Spotless reputation
I recognized the origin of your tagline - and in keeping with the thread - just modified it - in a Shakespearian sorta way;)
From “The Old Man Down The Street” one of the Bard’s earlier plays comes “get out of my yard.” Also from the play was the line “I’m keeping your ball.” Another well remembered line is “I’m shooting the next dog who craps on my lawn.” Immortal lines well-quoted through the centuries.
” ‘Ah, but the bible is a work of man, not of god’ said the “snarky” atheist”
Snark fight! ;-)
Othello
A foregone conclusion
Green-eyed monster
One that loved not wisely, but too well
Pomp and Circumstance
‘Tis neither here nor there
Wear my heart on my sleeve
Let the snarking begin !!!!
So very many!
