The National Guard in Oklahoma City, is warning the families of military personnel of fake death notifications going out.

That’s a new level of crude.
Fake death notifications are nothing new. Back in 2003, our local National Guard unit was dealing with fake phone calls.
Anyone caught doing this should be executed. But slowly.
They need to be put on the rack on national television. A couple of those, and others surely wouldn’t want to follow.
This ranks up there with the Topeka nutcases who protest military funerals.
Hell, this may be even worse...
My money is on these people are from the Westboro Baptist Church- the sick, evil SOBs who attack service families.
Find’em- give’em to the Marines.
Let them try to defuse an IED...blindfolded.
Was it some kind of political protest, like Code Pink? Or, was in some sort of financial scam? A military wife is probably one of the financially strapped family heads in the United States.
Get a rope...
Teach then UDT skills.
Chain them to the IED and toss them in ocean.

This is so wrong.
Each service typically has their own trained Casualty Notification Officers. Furthermore, when doing a notification, the combat uniform is not used. The CNO wears the appropriate service uniform for their service.
I’m glad the young spouse recognized the irregularities and called the nearby military installation. Although the CNO does have paperwork for the bereaved to sign at the time of notification, there’s no telling what the imposters were trying to get her to sign.
It isn’t new. It happened with my son’s unit back in 2003. What bugs me is that someone leaked data in order for it to happen. How else would they have next of kin for an entire unit?
One of the comments on the article says if caught, they should leave the guys in a room with the husbands of any women they have done this to. I like that idea.
It is not a mystery. These are Democrats. Either as a political protest, or as a tactic for some future method of electoral theft.
They want a Civil War, to overthrow and discard the Constitution, to create some fuzzy Socialist/Marxist utopia. I don't believe they will enjoy the backlash.
