“killing off a character”
Goodbye Wash.
And to add to the ‘sixer’ intrigue, the leader of Terra Nova thinks that someone back in the dying timeline basically planted the ‘sixers’ to de-stabilize Terra Nova.
I am a leaf on the wind...
Yeah. That was my first guess too.
Speaking of socialist utopias, I saw on another thread that the money in the dad’s backpack had Dear Reader on it.
I just started watching this on Hulu, and took a nice HD screenshot of it. The “Obama stash” is in $1000 bills. Or $1000 Yuan bills. I can’t tell. As soon as I can post the image, I will.
anyone else notice the nonstop daddy issues the writers seem to have?
of course, daddy issues are a mask for the anti-conservative / counter-culture memes the left needs to worm their ideological views into the family.
conservatism is using what works from the past to solve the problems of the future. otherwise known as tradition. engineers build everything based on the tried & true methods proven through history. same with medicine, archeology, chemistry and every other professional field.
which is the problem for the left. they want to get their ideology adopted by it runs counter to everything the country, and human history, has learned through experience. to do this, they must somehow make a wedge between the generations to insert their memes. this would be the rationale behind ‘all teenagers rebel against their parents’. that is complete bs and has never been the case in human history until the 1950-1960s.
shows like terra nova continue to drive home a point that teenage sons are supposed to oppose their fathers and that the fathers are often wrong, stupid, ill tempered, mean, too strict, etc
besides the societal engineering (don’t get me started on the demographic related roles in the show)... the show is fairly lame. the big problem is people, not the 50 foot dinosaurs eating you. it boggles the imagination that these people, armed only with air rifles, would survive more then a week outside a walled in area.
it’s amazing this show remains on the air, yet they canned firefly.
