An interesting article on the feeling of a lack of recognition, at least by this author, of Canadas' military contribution to the conflicts.
Personally, I attribute this to the medias tacit refusal to acknowledge any militarys' worth. By doing so they would be acknowledging the failure of the UN and the "peace & justice" mantra they regurgitate incessantly.

I’m sure part of the reason they’re “forgotten” is because they’re still patsies for the UK, as is every other Euro-centric English colony SINCE the US (they learned their lesson). They’re not truly independent of “their” queen. Probably looked upon as just another part of the UK. Become truly independent, and maybe you’ll be noticed.
