Do You Believe Herman Cain
Nodems2000

Posted on 12/01/2011 7:04:57 PM PST by Nodems2000

Well what does everyone think after the Hannity interview? I've listened carefully to all his interviews and even though I liked Herman very much, I believe he was involved with these women, even if they are scumbags. First, has anyone noticed how he seems to "prey" on women who are vulnerable and bogged down with financial and legal issues? Second, he has said repeatedly "my wife loves me so much" but he's yet to say "I love MY wife so much". Doesn't that sound very egomanical? Third, he said his wife would never tell him not to run. I'm suspecting she wouldn't dare tell him not to run because she's riding the Cain Train too - the Cain Money Train. If you watched her interview she sure didn't seem to be madly in love with him from things she said. And now he's going to "analyze" the phone bills to see if they match up with hers and he and his attorney will do an investigation. When Sean suggested he could get the info to clear himself very easily, such as videotapes in hotels, plane tickets, etc., etc. he suggested Sean wanted him to play detective! Well, sorry Herman, but it would take all of ten minutes to pick up the phone, call the Ritz downtown Atlanta and ask for videotapes on such a date and at such a time! That would end it once and for all. Him and his "analyzing". God help the 3 a.m. phone call - God forbid the red phone goes off for a missle coming our way - by the time he got done analyzing we'd all be bar-b-que!

“What you misread in others is merely a reflection of your own mind.”

Mind if I borrow that?

Borrow at will. We said it all the time as kids. I still believe it today. I have dated people who have cheated in their past relationships, and they were always suspicious of anything I did with the opposite sex. I am as faithful as they come. But because of their own escapades, they couldn't imagine it was possible for someone to be faithful. They were reflecting.

A lot of FReepers are reflecting.

And again, I'm not sitting here saying “Cain is innocent! He didn't have sex with that woman!!”

I have no idea if he had sex with her or not. But I haven't seen any proof. Just a lot of innuendo and circumstantial evidence. That's enough for a lot of people. Not me.

Where there's smoke, there are usually mirrors when it comes to the MSM. Sometimes there is fire, but with the MSM, more often there are mirrors.

Time will give us the answers. There's no reason we have to rush to judgment here. The first vote isn't until January 3rd. It's Mrs. Cain who needs to know the truth immediately — not the voters.

I thought you might be out dallying with Trump tonight!! lol

I see Egypt is going to be taken over by the Muslim Brotherhood and about a hundred threads about Newt and his ‘first lady’ wife. I can’t get an interest in Newt.

Piper wants out!

Unless Cain's accusers can produce one of these three items as in the cases of Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson and John Edwards, then I believe Cain

BOOYAH!

Newt is busy denying things he said or lobbied for - or saying he has changed his mind or he has “matured” over time

Newt has an excuse for everything

Newt cannot prove he will not change his mind again if somebody drags a few million dollars down Pennsylvania Avenue again - or that he will “mature even more” again

Newt’s big rediscovery of religion is a bit tawdry - as he first had to cheat on his first 2 wives - his mouth also betrays his ego, self control, and lack of judgement:

- “I will be the nominee!”

FR is slow - and FR software is causing a posting problemo again

No matter who dug these women out of the woodwork, they exist. The first couple were pretty weak tries. But this last one seems to have hit home.

I don’t doubt they are all getting well paid for their coming out. But, they exist. Cain knew them, and 99% of the stories match. Well, not 99%, but quite a bit.

He might not have had sex with them, and I don’t think he is a predator-— someone in his position wouldn’t have to do much chasing. I do think he is a narcissist who craves the attention.

That doesn’t disqualify him for President. Not being able to keep his women in line does disqualify him.

And before you bring up Clinton, I thought it disqualified him too.

Seriously? I can’t weigh the freely offered words and actions of the accused?

Well, sure you can. Go ahead and weigh Cain's statements, but I saw your post upthread where you called those statements "evidence", which they clearly are not.

Let's see the actual text messages, hotel receipts, recorded itineraries, photographs, audio recordings, eyewitness witness testimony, bank transaction records, postmarked mailings, canceled checks, video, etc.

That's evidence, and none of the accusers has offered anything resembling that yet.

It's just astonishing to me that anyone, let alone a well-informed conservative, would grant these spurious charges the slightest credence, after watching what the Democrat left has done to Republicans throughout the last couple of decades. My first instinct is to come down on the side of the accused in this case, because I KNOW what the left does to our candidates and public figures.

Yes, I’m having much slowness here too and the threads are pretty bare as to comments! Don’t know what the deal is.
I just can’t get interested enough in Newt to even read threads about him.

I guess Cain coulda dumped his wife, shacked up with one of his alleged paramours, dumped her... repeat rinse

That would be “keeping his women in line” a la Newt, eh?

lol you use Occam’s Razor to condemn Cain, but then go through all sorts of contortions to explain away Ginger White’s problems with libel and slander.

Yeah she failed to show up for court because the poor gal is “sloppy meeting deadlines” not because she is guilty.

It’s been well documented in and out of court what the loon did to her business partner.

So Mr Occam nice try but maybe not so obvious in your anti-Cain spin next time, ok?

Oh, are we talking about Newt? I never mentioned him. The discussion is whether or not we believe Herman. And I don’t. Newt cheated, but he fessed up and moved on. Cheated, fessed up, and moved on...
