You do realize the 31% figure varies from day to day too right?

If he’s the nominee, yes. In the primary, no. As much as I am delighted with Newt’s brilliance, vast wealth of knowledge and his awesome debating abilities, his policy inconsistency and his other baggage, both in private and public life are insurmountable obstacles to electibility. Damn shame, too, a great mind and a great talent to verbally thrust and parry, probably one of the best we’ve had on the scene over the last several decades.

Paging Jim DeMint. To me, DeMint is the only person I can think of that has the stature, the poise, the consistent values and ideas and the policy orientation to be a great candidate. I’ve heard him on talk shows many times and the guy is just always locked in on a solid conservative way of seeing every issue. He’s also not afraid to articulate exactly what he means or to criticize a huge phony like Obama. DeMint-Bachmann or DeMint-Santorum works for me.

If he is the final candidate, then yes. If Santorum is, of course.

Almost anyone who runs against Obama!

If Perry wins the primary, I’d vote for him without regret, but if Newt nails, yes, reluctantly, like I was the first time with Bush. Romney... never..no.

I know I will not vote for Obama.

But a premise:

Dr Paul goes Indy as he is reported in the polls as capturing the youth. Libs not happy with Obama. Paul way over Newt if the youth actually get out and vote. Obama loses major targeted support of youth. Plus the Independents said leaning Paul, if we go by poll link.

2nd premise:

Newt is considered old insider Republican and drives home the Conservatives.

So Newt will be running against Paul?

Obama is running against Paul?

In a country of over 300 million people, is this the best that we can do?

Did you run? No? Then hush and pick someone who did!

He’s better than Romney, also unpredictable and mentally undisciplined.

A supermajority Tea Party congress and state legislatures would be a good insurance policy against whoever is in the White House.

You know, if it had been only roads, it would have gone through.

When they included grabbing the corners at off ramps so they could own the land where gas stations sat, and when they added a big enough plot of land at the I10 intersection for an industrial park ... all land to be seized below market price through eminent domain I became part of the anti TTC reaction.

When the part about trucks and trains being inspected at ports in Mexico, and hen just waved through at the US border more people became involves, and the TTC struck an iceberg.

When it was revealed that there was also an agreement not to widen I35 no matter how bad we might need to do so as that would compete with the toll road, the slimy garbage barge TTC sank to the bottom.

Even after that, Texas DOT tried to resurect it until the legislature realized how toxic it had become.

It is not a bad thing if it reveals how bad a candidate Perry is. Some things deserve not to be forgiven, and this was one of them.

Not a chance. What good is a so called Republican that declares himself as a Progressive and state that FDR is the greatest president in the history of the USA.
