When the Droid 4 comes out, I plan on buying a Droid 3.

It should be half the price then it currently is.

If you got the Galaxy S II - the new LTE Android, AND yo are in an LTE market, you will LOVE the speeds and the low latency.

If not, enjoy the HSPA+ on the Galaxy.

For different reasons, I prefer the Galaxy to the iPhone 4.

Lots of new phones are announced at the Consumer Electronics Show each year. This year’s show is from January 09-13, 2012.

If ya can’t spell it right, you sure don’t get it.

We’re almost to 2012. Give it a rest about one incident in the ‘80s.

Maybe the remote mic hole is too small. You can use the thing without headphones. You’re not dead in water if that tiny hole is plugged.

Dead battery? Are we talking dead kaput? Apparently, if he’s talking about taking it in for service. The battery will last long enough that you should be upgrading well before then. And why not? You’ve paid enough in cell carrier overhead, upgrade already. Three years isn’t enough? Maybe so, since this guy is still longing for phone booths. “who the hell would buy a car which had to be replaced whenever a battery died.....” if the battery was designed to outlive the car, well yeah.

Get back to us about how well that Galaxy works out. I’m guessing he won’t, for presumable reasons not including satisfaction.

I have over 50 managers on on iPhone 4...I have had mine since it came out...not a single compliant from a number of people I should only hand milspec equipment to...but I guess my mileage has varied.

What’s your point? Do you think you are morally superior or something? I love my iPhone and IPad and wouldn’t trade it for anything made by Samsung. thanks for sharing though.

I’ve owned an Iphone as well as a new Galaxy. I don’t know what led me to buy an Iphone - I’m an open source guy who hates proprietary software with a passion. The Galaxy puts the Iphone to shame - you’ve made a good choice!

I have an iphone 4 and have no problems. It’s not the 4s, though, which I read has battery issues.

I’m a prepaid tracfone user. Its the perfect phone for someone who has no use for all the other crap they put on cell phones these days.

I mean, I'd never wanted anything to do with Apple after the stunt they pulled shutting down the Atari 520ST in 85

Yeah, bitter clinger pretty much sums it up.

So far, with the exception of an issue with a refurbished phone we were able to correct on our own, we have had no real issues with 4 IPhones.

And the apps? They almost all, without exception, work as advertized. Can't say that about the Android phone/apps - I have an HTC Evo as well - Meh, better browsing, but that's about it. It does everyone else ok except be a phone.

IPhones are far superior.

What did Apple have to do with the Atari ST?

From reading this and seeing what is going on in society around me, I don’t understand how I survive with just a cheezy little pre-paid LG.

My 2005 Verizon flip phone still works great. I receive calls, and make calls, and if I ever feel like it I can text message with it. Plus, it seems to work everywhere. Sure, I need to recharge it a lot these days, but if I keep it plugged in on the car charger whenever I drive, that’s not an issue. I drop it on the driveway sometimes but it just bounces and never breaks. I highly recommend it.

Maybe you could find one on ebay.

FRegards,
LH

As I reported earlier, it so happened that I stumbled by accident into an Apple store for the first time ever on the evening of Steve Jobs’ passing. I spoke with a few of the employees there, and one thing that I couldn’t help but notice was that everyone of them, just like every one of the people I know who own and use Apple products, is a Constitutionalist right winger!

I have had every iphone. I use it 24/7 and love it. You either had a lemon or operator problems.
