We used to have a solid black one, Bruno! Only problem was, our female shepherd did not like him from the first minute! In the beginning she would just ignore him but eventually she got so hateful she would unlatch the gate, he would follow her out and she would lead him to who knows where. She would return without him.

He did find his way back each time but finally we gave him to a friend of ours who had no animals. Broke my heart!

Gee, I hate to complain but I’ve had a time with my upper back today and am getting ready to lay down now. Its the first chance I had. Nothing has eased the pain and that’s why I haven’t been back on the thread! I’ve got to find some relief or scream!

It’s the BEST way to spend a day off! We are now getting a nice slow rain...for at least the last two hours! Yay us!

That is really strange that your shepherd did not like the pug. My Chachi can not stand to have Penny in the same room with him. She’s old, blind and deaf now and when my son brings her to visit, like last Christmas, I have watch Chachi constantly so that he isn’t terrorizing poor Penny. He just absolutely hated her from the first day he laid eyes on her. I’ve never seen anything like it and I’ve never seen him act that way towards any of the other dogs in the family. Chachi gets along fine with my son’s Boston Terriers, but he doesn’t even want anyone talk to Penny or pet her. He will try to chase her out of the room. The only good thing about it is, Penny has no fear of Chachi, which makes him even more upset and indignant. I wonder what it is about pugs that other dogs don’t like? LOL.

We've had a Wonderful Rain Here, and the Ponds in the area have finally Filled Back Up after the Terrible Drought we've been having.
The Rain has also Neutralized the Dirt in the Air from our Dirt Road; I'm So Very Thankful for that.

I don't know what it is but Cindy absolutely did not want him around. Bruno was actually a gift to my hubby from a friend and I felt bad as his friend did not want him back (he was from their litter). Must be something only other dogs can sense..lol.

The lady he was given to absolutely adored him and treated him like royalty so he was a very happy little guy once he left our house! Thank goodness!
