I agree that the TV guys weren’t mocking Tebow. It seemed like they were surrendering and agreeing that a little prayer might not be a bad thing.

NFL Marketing has been embarrassed all year long by the publicity around Tebow

NFL Marketing loves Tebow. They play both sides of this situation, but he is a cash cow. If I remember right, he sold more jerseys in his rookie year than anyone before him. I think that the league would love to see him get traded, and sell a lot more jerseys of a different NFL franchise. Follow the money, and the Broncos have financial reasons to keep the guy.

Thanks. Loved his victory lap — great for him to bring the fans into the celebration.

“Poor coverage”

Key to the game. I don’t think Tebow ever threw on first down in any game this year. Steelers set up for the run and left the middle open. Simple pass route over the middle and Steeler defensive backs were behind the chase and lost the race. Simple football. Make em pay I always say!

The were in man zero coverage a lot...no respect for Tebow’s passing game.

It got the Steelers burnt.

However, on the last play, I don’t think they were in zero. Steelers do a lot of feigning, stemming, showing in and out of coverages by moving people around.

If you look, I think the safety, got called on a quick count while he was up, because on the snap, he took off downfield as if he should have been deep.

Regardless, Tebow burnt Steeler secondary on deep pass all day, 5 over 30 yards I believe with 2TD passes. Polamalu, Gay, Clayton got beat all day.

I thought he said the Steelers swarming defense was just too much for Denver. I remember the ‘potential’ comment. But, I took it to favor the Steelers. I remember thinking that Rush’s bias was getting the best of him at the time.

“he took off downfield as if he should have been deep”

The strong safety is up and if you look at the replay he looks a little confused to me. Anyway the fact that Tebow burned them earlier should register with someone on the Steeler side of things. From Bronco’s point of view you take what they give you and they got a great big gift!

The reason I took the potential comment for upset the other way was because the Steelers were favored by 9 on Friday.

“...Doesn’t matter. Everyone knows God is a Packers fan....”

Then why was there a hole in the roof of Texas Stadium. Story has it that it was there so that He could watch His team play on sunday’s, and other days of the week as the schedule dictates. };-)

“...Ssorry, but I refuse to refer to stadiums by their mercenary corporate names....”

I’m with you on that point. I always refer to a stadium with what name it was when it opened. FedEx Field will ALWAYS be Jack Kent Cooke Stadium, Sun Life Stadium will ALWAYS be Joe Robbie Stadium, Qualcomm Stadium will ALWAYS be San Diego Stadium , and Cowboys Stadium will ALWAYS be Cowboys Stadium no matter what corporate name is hung on it.

Great stats, and then add in all the individual FB people who were posting and liking posts on friends’ walls. All eyes were on Tebow and heads were exploding all over the liberal world. All in all, A GREAT DAY.
