1/2 the reason I love Tebow is because the Christian haters hate him.

1/2 the reason I love Tebow is because the entire establishment wrote him off as incompetent before he got the usual 3 years before you begin to judge a quarterback.

1/2 the reason I love Tebow is because he is so honest and good and right and true. Talk about a role model, when kids had nothing but dog-fighters, rapists, wife-beaters, drug-addicts, and thugs for role models. This point ties into the 2nd above and is a big reason the establishment doesn’t like him. They can’t stand his goodness. Their reflection is ugly in his mirror of righteousness.

3/2’s must mean I’m like Yogi Bera.

The 80-yd pass was the longest TD pass in OT in NFL history.

And that was the shortest OT period in NFL history.

I find garbage like this to be supremely disrespectful. It mocking both Tebow and the Lord. I hate to see people “tebowing” because they are not doing it out of respect for Tebow’s righteousness.

Very sad that people can’t just respect him and his deep conviction and faith. Just sad.

I read an article this week that stated that Ben was lost but now is found as the song says. At this moment he is leading a better life then before. If the article is true, good for him.

I’m not a very good Catholic either, but I’m committed to really trying to improve. I figure I either have to start really towing the line or quit pretending I’m Catholic. I have to say, it feels good to be more devout and I’m getting out of it things I’ve never previously understood.

Yes, that guy called in to say the Steelers were a lock and Rush told him he had a bad feeling about the game with all the injuries and the set up. Rush was right again!

The media mocks him mercilessly. Yet he keeps on keeping on.

Tebow is a class act, humble and kind. I think tebowing is very disrespectful, but Tebow is a glass half full person who just turns it into a positive, saying he is glad to be a role model. What a fabulous person.

Tebow on 'Tebowing:' Glad to be a role model

I did not see it as mocking. They were then (regardless of previous comments) speaking well of Tebow after what all called an amazing play and an amazing game, and it came across as a genuine tribute.

What a good game! Go, GATORS ... er, Broncos!

He is up at top space on Drudge, w/Amazing Grace caption.

Elway said recently he does believe Tebow is the QB, and that he was going to work with him in the off season.

Screw Drudge.

Is that the same Marino who never won a Superbowl? The biggest Pu$$y in professional sports when he was playing?

No he wasn’t. He said this game had the most potential or an upset of any game this weekend.

It was funny, too; the way he was talking, it sounded like he wanted to get to a Broncos game. He’ll get another chance at it now!

I thing the pass was beautiful. It hit him in stride, so he could run through it. Made me remember watching Joe Montana hit Jerry Rice on those routes.

I’m trying to figure out when we Steelers fans whine?

Last year, we lost the Super Bowl to a better team, no whining. My Steelers were defeated by a better team yesterday, there’s been no whining.

I really don’t think that most understand how football helped southwestern Pennsylvania during the 70’s when we lost everything. Sure, The Rooneys are giant hypocrites and sure, we can put a political spin onto football games, but when you live in an area with few days of sunshine, little growth and you’ve suffered the loss of an entire industry, the fact that most of us enjoyed watching our football team brought us together. Young and old, male, female, rich and poor. When you’re in front of a television waving a terrible towel, you are just Steeler Nation for that moment.

I think most in these parts had low expectations of our team going any further in thie playoffs even if we had managed to somehow defeat the Broncos. I hope the Broncos take care of the Patriots and continue on. No whining.

Steeler football has always exemplified what most Pittsburghers tend to be, just a little tougher, mixed with salty language at times, speaking their mind regardless of the consequences. I’ve been watching Steelers football since I was a young girl, now that I’m almost a seasonsed citizen, nothing’s changed. I get a bit upset when I see claims of “whining” and other mischaracterizations of Steeler Nation.

Go Broncos.

That’s the Steelers legacy. They’ve long been the dirtiest team in football. Great to see them lose in the way they did

Dirtiest? No

For several years in a row, the Raiders held the distinction of being highest in penalties (when Art Shell was their coach)...I think they took a brief hiatus from those "honors"...and then resumed it.

Now I'm objective. The Broncos once upon a time weren't above dirty play. I recall seeing a "60 Minutes" interview of retired Broncos linebacker Bill Romanowski, who admitted one time he reached down into the bottom of a pile, took an unknown opposition player's finger, and broke it.

Romanowski admitted taking all kinds of "enhancers."

Wikipedia correctly lists some of his problems -- when he was with the Eagles, Broncos and Raiders:

Romanowski has been involved in numerous altercations with both teammates and opponents. In 1995, while with the Eagles, he was ejected from a game — and subsequently fined $4,500 — for kicking Arizona Cardinals fullback Larry Centers in the head.[1]
Two more incidents occurred during the 1997 season while he played for the Broncos: In the first, he was fined $20,000 after a helmet-to-helmet hit on then-Carolina Panthers quarterback Kerry Collins in a preseason game resulting in Collins sustaining a broken jaw;[1] in the second, Romanowski spat in the face of 49ers wide receiver J. J. Stokes in a regular-season game played in December on a Monday night in response to Stokes' taunting.[2] Two years later, while still with the Broncos, he was fined a total of $42,500 for three illegal hits plus a punch thrown at Kansas City Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez, and was also fined an undisclosed amount for throwing a football at Bryan Cox of the New York Jets, the ball hitting him in the crotch area.[3]
In 2003, Romanowski attacked and injured one of his teammates, Marcus Williams, during a scrimmage. Williams, a backup tight end for the Oakland Raiders, was forced to retire after Romanowski confronted Williams after a play, ripped off his helmet, and crushed his eye socket with a punch.[4] Williams sued for damages of $3.4 million, arguing that Romanowski had been suffering from "roid rage" when he attacked him. This argument was later rejected by the judge on the grounds that Williams could not prove that Romanowski had actually used steroids on the same day as the attack. Williams was awarded $340,000. Williams was quoted as saying he and his lawyers "just wanted to prove what was right and wrong about football".[5]

My point in the Broncos-Steelers game is that I've never seen three facemask penalties in a single game AT ANY LEVEL...let alone three uncalled facemasks occurring all in the same quarter as what the Steelers unleashed Sunday!

And since two of those occurred vs. Tebow, ya gotta wonder how much of a personal vendetta it was by the Steelers' defense.
