My standard reply.
All kittehs should be indoor kittehs unless they’re on mouser duty in a barn away from a road or other predators. Letting a cat out in a regular neighborhood is a bad idea.
1) They get hit by cars.
2) They can have more than one home.
3) They do do their biz but they usually cover it up but how much can a kitteh leave? I can’t believe it’s a Saint Bernard load.
4) They live longer, average outside lifetime is around four years I believe VS fifteen or more indoors.
5) Someone thinks it’s an abandoned cat and keeps it for themselves.

You are of course free to do what you want but if your neighbor is complaining about cat sized loads, they might ‘accidentally’ leave some anti-freeze or other poison around; her “or else” comment.
Is she a good neighbor otherwise? You know how some people need to have drama.

BTW, that’s a good looking kitteh.
There are additions you can add to your fence that stops them from being able to go over them but if you let em out the front door it’s kind of pointless.

She is a good neighbor. Her “or else” comment was that she would call animal control and trap Sweet Pea and let the pound take her away.

Not that she would do that - she has cats herself. (Indoor).

But still... I want to resolve this problem
