Thousands of people from around the world are descending on our little town for the annual three day World Ag Expo. I usually avoid going anywhere near the event because of the snarled up traffic and crowds, but this year we have VIP tickets to the Trace Adkins concert tonight and......drum roll.......the Ag Warriors Gala Dinner Benefit tomorrow night with keynote speaker President George W. Bush! For someone who rarely goes anywhere or does anything exciting...this is pretty big deal. LOL.
I am wishing all of Amy's Place a Valentine's Day full of
sweet surprises and lots of love!

BG It’s my turn to ask for prayers (if you could ping your list or send private). My youngest son, Roy (the one with the two babies), has been having stomach problems for some time. Yesterday they did an upper GI and said that he has a “thickening” in one place in his esophagus that could, worst case, be cancer, or best case ulcer. It will be 21 days before he can get to see a specialist (thanks obama), so please pray that this is just an anomaly. And pray that he has peace of mind in the meantime. Thanks to all who will pray. Nan

Thanks. I hope to get some photos at both events but I am not sure what the photo policy is going to be. If cameras aren’t allowed, I may have to just see what I can surreptitiously snap with my cell phone. :-)
