Winning 46% of the vote in MN and a whopping 55% in bellweather MO, the question now is whether Santorum is now the real alternative to Romney?

oh please, those hypothetical polls are meaningless at this point. How well will little Ricky do once people start doing negative ads against him. His train is leaving Fantasy Island soon.

“Whom would you rather choose?”

I think the only viable strategy for conservatives is to keep Romney from winning a majority of delegates before the convention. If he goes into the convention and the nomination is not locked up he is toast.. the GOP insiders will be forced to give it up.

Newt and Rick on the same ticket could unite the conservatives IMO

I'm guessing that you were in a coma while "Little Ricky" was getting fully mugged by the Mittens campaign in all of these states. Looks like the attacks on him don't hold water to the voters.

GO RICK!!!

Learn it, live it, love it.

I am a Newt supporter but I could get behind Rick. I say that they both stay in until Super Tuesday then the one with the least delegates needs to get out. What say you?

Santorum v. Obama -- an openly religious man v. aging 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus spoiled brats and their ideological issue (that include Obama).

How about that!

The Marxist-Alinsky brats have already declared war on Christians.

This would make a very interesting campaign and one that I personally don't see how Obama can win if freedom is an issue.

I'm with you on that. Stay in until after Super Tuesday, see where we are, then team up.

I too am for Newt, but I can get on board with Santorum if that be the case. We can't afford to lose this to Mitty.

ANYBODY BUT ROMNEY, and it's going to happen.

Establishment desperately trying to figure out where to get votes for Romney in CO and avoid the sweep.

Go ahead, delude yourself that Santorum was under severe attack in these states where the contests are all non binding, attracted virtually no advertising and only a few thousand voters bothered to come out.

His charisma by pass was still a raging success.

Romney needs to lose decisively on Super Tuesday. He will be unloading a hurricane of ads in several states that neither Gingrich or Santorum can match. Romney is likely to pick up AZ and MI: these are two big states. Santorum v. Romney on Super Tuesday will really focus on Romney’s weaknesses as a genuine conservative. Plus Rush, and the rest of talk radio will solidify with Santorum.

With 28% of the vote in in CO, Santorum leads Romney 41%- 31% . Romney might still pull this one. He won 61% of the vote to McCain 18% in 2008. If Santorum wins this, it will be a true wow moment.

I smell IA all over again here. Mittens was all out in CO to stop the Santorum steam roller tonight. I’m sure Rove and the boys are trying to figure out who’s palm to grease to keep this from being a sweep.
