Actually, “glitter bombing” is not that benign of an act. We had students in school throwing glitter at other students on Halloween until they were told to stop. THe kids thought it was funny until they learned that if glitter gets in the eyes, it can scratch and seriously damage the cornea.

I guess that explains why nothing happened to Santorum’s glitter bomber.
