The original Milli-Vanilli band

I look at them a little differently; it was them actually singing, just not playing the instruments, and eventually, they did develop the instrumental skills.

Looks like he's taken that @Last Train To Clarksville

RIP. You'll be remembered as being forever young at heart.

RIP Davy.

Thanks for hours of enjoyment in front of our very first color TV. The model of the Monkee Mobile I built and proudly displayed in my room. The records I would play and play and play till I drove my sisters mad. For the hair style I copied, until David Cassidy came along and inspired me to push the envelope and my parents just a little bit more. And thanks for the reruns that my own 10 year old son now likes watching.

“Remember the Monkeymobile?”

And who did not build the model?

"...emaciated AIDS looking Al Sharpton"

Al has the homo flu? I haven't seen him lately

I have friends who are nurses. They are PO'd that so much money is wasted on AIDS research when it is 100% preventable.

And even more PO'd at the political climate that won't let them openly say so (seriously- it could mean your job)

I said one of — I guess I could have limited it to the 60s.

Either way I hear tell he was a good bloke.

Verrrrrrrry interesting.

Since Clarksville TN which was a huge railhead from Civil War days is just south of Fort Campbell KY, major training base and home of the 101st Airborne Division which went to Vietnam in fall 1965, that would make sense.

When I shipped to RVN in 1971, troop movement was mostly by World Airways aka FarFarEastern Airlines (”Fly to exotic foreign locations. Meet interesting local people. And kill them.”)

Clarksville, Tn, was also the home of the 14th Tennessee Infantry that was almost obliterated on July 3, 1863, at a small town in Pennsylvania called Gettysburg.
