I want to see them publicly questioned with the following...

“How many years do we go back for the ‘repatriation’ cutoff point? How many countries do we revert to their prior ownership? Is it not unfair to those below that cutoff and who determines it? Who feeds the billions of people displaced and where do they then go?”

Ait back, eat popcorn and record on video to win the Oscar for Best Comedy.

Water’s a delusional drug user, if you follow his politics. That the Falklands was never part of Argenina isn’t relevant. His hatred of Britain is.

It’s practically a cliche for lib musicians to hate their country and work that hatred into their music. Look at Rage Against the Machine, my favorite go-to dipsticks for these examples.

It ‘guarantees’ their place in ‘history’ under the ‘any press is good press’ philosophy. RATM is full-on anti-American/Communist in their lyrics and an icon of anarchists everywhere (cognitive dissonance aside), RW hates his British heritage, both profit handsomely from the very things they claim to ‘hate’, go against their stated philosophies and laugh all the way to the bank.

Oikophobia, hatred or fear of ones own culture, is the ersatz sophistication of the intellectually vapid and insecure. It is the equivalent of a teenager belittling his family and friends to look good for the cool crowd.

Believing, “my country’s enemy is my friend”, is a terminal form of stupidity. See OWS.

I'm sure the families of the 255 Brits, Military and Civilian, killed in the Falklands War will be thrilled to know what this asshat is selling in Argentina.

Time to grow up and leave rock and roll with it’s heart of rebellion behind in the dust. I think people think it keeps them young, like the hoods of the 50s greased their hair back into their well into their 40s and 50s. It didn’t make them young, just a little pathetic.
Rock and roll has been nasty since it’s inception. The problem is it’s like bad cooking, when you are brought up on it you don’t know any better.

"we got the Final Cut"

Very underappreciated album... It's a good one.

"Waters made a career of one thing. Daddy issues."

He actually sang about two subjects. Daddy and Syd Barrett. See the album Wish You Were Here....

Thing is, he may have been a talented guitar player, but when he checked out into the asylum and his buddy David Gilmour got into the band is when Pink Floyd got good.

One wonder in which language Mr. Waters delivered his anti-colonial diatribe; certainly not English or Spanish.

No offense, but that's a bit of a slippery slope. All secular music, IINM, has been so tagged even going back into before the middle ages. Remember Diabolus in musica?

Sometimes it was true and sometimes not. If "music" at it's heart promotes and celebrates rebellion than, yes, it is nasty and evil. Anyone listening to much, if not nearly all rock and roll, should be able to hear that it is a celebration of rebellion from authority, and by extension, ultimate authority, which is The LORD. Much of it is centered around the promotion of immorality by it's own words. Rock and roll and drug usage also are intertwined.

I think many have been brain washed into thinking that it is great. One can expect uninformed children to be taken in by it but it is amazing to me that people over 25 haven't outgrown it like many outgrow liberalism and become much more Conservative. Except, of course, those who are for some reason entrenched in the benefits they think so called liberalism is giving to them personally.

Come to think of it rock and roll and liberalism have much in common. Liberals love to promote immorality and many take drugs and have had their minds altered. The free love and take no responsibility culture that is hallmarked by rock and roll is central to so called leftist liberalism.

Oil and natural gas.

But more to the point, for the Argentinian government it is not about that, rather it is about deflecting public opinion from the dismal state of the nation.

To the Brits it's a matter of pride and also that the people who live on the islands are all British in origin and consider themselves as such.
